Cleaning service provided at end of stay for local charge of 60 euros. Bedding, bath and hand towel provided at 10 euro per person. For guests staying longer than a week, fresh linen and towels can be provided on request.

2 18-hole championship golf courses are situated in Kaprun which is about 10 minute drive away. This hosts the annual Ski and Golf World Championships in Spring.

Skiing
In Winter there are 132km of pistes for all levels of skiier or snowboarder to explore. Known as the 'Europasport' region, it covers Zell Am See, Kaprun and Kitzsteinhorn glacier. Main gondola lift (City Express) and main bus station about 5 minute walk from apartment. Buses from station available to Kaprun, glacier, Areitbahn and Schmittenhohebahn lifts. There is an excellent ski-school for adults and children of all levels, a snow-park for boarders and freestyle skiers, and kindergarten for younger guests to play or learn to ski in.

Salzburg airport - 90km.
Innsbruck airport - 152km.
Klagenfurt airport - 180km.
Munich airport - 210km.
Excellent train service across Austria to Zell Am See, car not necessary.

Distances
If you are not a ski or golf-lover don't be put off! Zell is easily accessible by road or train, with plenty to do in the resort and surrounding area. Take in the breathtaking scenery on a daytrip to Salzburg (90km). Here you can visit the castles, salt-mines, zoo, Mozarts birthplace or Sound of Music tour. There is the Swarovski crystal factory near Innsbruck. Or closer to home the Krimml waterfall + Grossglockner glacier (55km) and Sigmund Thun Gorge (10km). Neighbouring town is Kaprun (7km).

Further details
Zell Am See is a traditional Austrian resort set beside an alpine lake. It caters for all tastes, with its variety of bars, pubs and restaurants. From lively apres-ski bars, nightclub and discos, to traditional European dining and friendly cafes. There is a pedestrian shopping area, designer shops, supermarkets, banks, chemist, doctor, post office, tourist information, hospital and churches all within the resort. In Winter Zell Am See has many activities including Winter walks, snow-shoe walking, sleigh-rides, toboggan run, ice-skating, indoor swimming pool, indoor tennis and squash. The local ice-rink hosts league ice-hockey matches throughout the Winter season. In Summer, temperatures can reach 35 degrees C, and the lake provides a perfect setting for fishing, bathing, sailing and waterskiing. There are indoor and outdoor swimming pools, outdoor tennis and mountain bikes for hire. Many of the cablecar lifts remain open all year, providing access to a wide variety of guided and unguided walks, for all levels, from leisurely rambles to mountain hikes. There is also canyoning and rock climbing nearby. Linked resort of Kaprun as well as the golf, provides year-round glacier skiing, microlight aircraft, horse-riding and bowling. The longest Summer toboggan run in Europe is at Saalfelden (14km).

Booking notes
A non-refundable deposit of 250 Euros secures the booking, this will be retained as deposit for damage/breakages/lost keys etc. and will be refunded to your bank account at the end of your stay should no damage occur. Rent to be paid 6 weeks prior to departure. Payments can be paid directly into Austrian or UK bank, UK or Euro cheque or credit card via Paypal.
