The location of the apartment is fantastic. The Piste is only 100m away, so there is no need to worry about driving, parking and walking with heavy equipment such as skis, snowboards, poles etc. You can literally put your skis on at the front door, ski all day and take them off again at the front door when you have finished. Once you are on the ski slope there is a short descent of 250m to the Valley Station of the Achter Jet ski lift which will take you high up the mountain. The apartment is located on the Griessenkarweg, which is the service road for the main ski slopes and Berg hutten of Flachau. This means that everything in the town is accessible by foot. The nearest Musistadl restaurant is 5 minutes walk and the main shopping area, supermarkets, information centre, pubs, post office and restaurants are only a 10 minute walk away.

Accessibility
The apartment is easy access on the ground floor level with the car park.
Golf
The nearest golf course is at Radstadt, only 15 minutes away.
Skiing
The skiing opportunities in and around Flachau are staggering. The influence of Flachaus most famous ski legend, Herman "The Herminator" Maier is evident. There are ski schools a plenty for all ages and experience levels from very advanced skiers to complete beginners. There are fast modern covered lifts with a capacity to transport 26,000 people an hour up the mountain, and there are also plenty of mountain restaurants where skiers can take a break.
Ski Amade - Flachau is located right in the middle of the Salzberger Sportwelt. This allows skiers and snow boarders to purchase a single Ski Amade lift pass that gives access to nearly 900km of prepared piste, more than 270 lifts in over 25 different ski locations. These include, Flachau, Flachauwinkl, Wagrain, Alternmark, Zauchensee, Radstadt, Eben, Filzmoos, St. Johann, Alpendorf and Goldegg. This is the single largest single pass skiing area in Austria.
Travel
Flachau is easily accessible from three different international airports. Munich Airport is just over two hours away; Both Salzburg and Klagenfurt Airports are is 45 minutes away, albeit in opposite directions. Flachau itself is in the heart of the Salzburger Sportwelt region and is only 45 minutes away from Salzburg along the A10 motorway.
