There are a host of lovely old towns to visit within minutes of self-catering villas in Alaro. Binissalem is very close, and is a town synonymous with Mallorca’s burgeoning wine industry. In fact winemaking on the island dates back to before Roman times, and you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about its viticulture at vineyards such as Jose L Ferrer, minutes from Alaro villas, just outside Binssalem. Although you’ll be in a secluded, rural setting at a holiday apartment in Alaro, some of Mallorca’s best beaches can be reached within half an hour. If you head northeast you’ll arrive at the coves and bays of the Alcudia and Pollensa shores, while Palma on the south coast is also no more than 20 minutes away.
Weather
If you arrive at an Alaro holiday apartment between April and October the you’ll most likely be able to enjoy warm, sunny weather. For much of the rest of the year conditions are mild, with more rainfall than in summer.
Best Time to Visit
With lovely mountain scenery almost on your doorstep, it might be best to come to an Alaro apartment when the weather is a little more clement, and more conducive to being active – in May or June.

Alaro self-catering villas and apartments are 25 minutes from Palma Airport (PMI), which is served by numerous affordable airlines from cities throughout Europe.
