What is the "Refer a Friend" scheme?
This scheme enables existing advertisers to invite their friends by personal email to advertise on Owners Direct. If the recommended friend places an advertisement, both parties will be rewarded with a months free advertising by way of a thank you.
What is the incentive?
- One months free advertising added to your current subscription.
- One months free advertising added to your friend's new subscription.
What happens if the incentive changes?
The incentive advertised on the day you send your referral email applies. Incentives advertised on earlier or later dates cannot be used as an alternative. We reserve the right to change, or remove, the incentive without notice to advertisers and users of the site.
Is there a limit on the number of people I can refer?
You can send an unlimited number of referral emails but can only claim up to a maximum of 5 free months advertising per calendar year.
How will I know if my friend has purchased a listing?
We will email you to let you know that your friend has joined Owners Direct.
How do I redeem the incentive?
Please log on to your Advertisement Manager and click on ‘Claim award’, if you have more than 1 live property account with us you will be able to choose which account you would like to credit.
Can I claim for past referrals?
Unfortunately we cannot credit you for past referrals. Only new orders with the correct referral code will be credited.
Can the incentive be used with any other promotional offer?
No, any incentives may not be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer.
What happens if my listing is withdrawn due to my subscription ending before my friend purchases a listing?
If your subscription is not renewed and withdrawn, before your friend purchases a listing, the Site will make every effort to allow an incentive to apply to a listing when it is re-instated.
Who is eligible to use the "Refer a Friend" scheme?
Any existing advertiser can refer a friend. The incentive is only applicable when you introduce a friend who is new to Owners Direct. The code cannot be used by existing advertisers or by yourself to advertise additional properties.
