Great place to stay

Loved our stay at this apartment. Ideal, quiet location just a few minutes drive from central Reykjavik or catch the bus which passes by the apartment. Supermarket is close by and you can step out for a walk along the coast. Our host Siggi was friendly, informative and keen to make sure we had a good stay. Siggi also picked us up from the airport and dropped us off for a reasonable cost, which simplified our travel. Would be happy to stay here again and would recommend to others.

The land of fire and ice

Fantastic accommodation and location with a great host. It was very clean and Siggi was very friendly and flexible with the airport pick-up and return. It’s a few minutes drive to the centre of Reykjavik and the coast line at either end of the accommodation’s street is simply beautiful. The apartment and car offer amazing value for Iceland. I am very thankful to Siggi and his wife for the memories we have of an incredible island. Highly recommended.

Unassuming location, quiet, near city.

Siggi the host, was very helpful, and informative, with a nice sense of humour. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. There were a few problems with the car initially so he provided us with a different one. Otherwise all went smoothly.

Superb apartment

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Iceland. It was very clean, comfortable and warm. Having the car was such a bonus as we love having the freedom to go where we please and to visit places that are not so touristy. Our favourite trip was around the peninsular where the Blue Lagoon is and, of course, we finished up there. Thank you Siggi for such a lovely time. Chris and Steve

Fantastic 2 weeks in Iceland

We are a family of 4 with two young children and spent 2 weeks in the apartment, which we used as a base to explore Reykjavik and the surrounding areas. We had a fantastic time and I cannot recommend the property enough. As other people have said, Siggi (the owner) is extremely helpful and lives just upstairs so is always on hand if you need help with anything. The apartment comes with a car which was a big bonus as car hire is expensive in Iceland! We used it everyday whether it was 5 minute trip into the city, or a 2 hour drive down the coast. The property was easily big enough for all of us and we never felt cramped. The location was also excellent as it is a quiet part of the city right by the coast on a spit of land, but there is a bus right outside into the town and using the car it is only 5 minutes away anyway. We have absolutely no regrets and we love Iceland, Reykjavik, and our gracious host Siggi. Thank you!
