Nestling in the wooded hills overlooking the elegant spa town of Bagni di Lucca, Casa Isabella is a great choice for independent-minded and adventurous travellers who want to get off the beaten track. It's situated in the oldest part of the town close to the original spa. It's also near shops, restaurants, ice cream parlours, bars, tennis courts and the river. There is a fantastic swimming pool complex (including three outdoor pools) ten minutes' walk from the house. Casa Isabella has many characteristic features, including chestnut beams and windows, shutters, terracotta floors and Carrara marble surfaces. Because of its elevated position, the house is light and airy, and enjoys a lovely view through the trees over the town’s rooftops, and the surrounding mountains. The area around the house is a walker's paradise and an artist's and photographer's dream. It's also just 30 minutes' drive from the nearest ski resort and cable car - great for cooling off in summer too.

Mike very easy to contact house in quiet area spiral staircase needs taking out and normal stairs putting in,could be done otherwise EXCELLENT

Fantastic stay

Het was geweldig.. Authentiek en in mooie omgeving. Locaal zwembad is makkelijk bereikbaar. Daarnaast binnen 1.5 uur op een gratis mooi strand (mama beach). Je kan bij bij canyon tegen betaling begeleid suppen! Klimmen etc inclusief afkoelen in de rivier.

Vacanza rovinata

La casa nella realtà non corrisponde alle foto sull'annuncio perché l'interno è in condizioni pessime. Muri rovinati, pulizia della casa assente in quanto la casa era sporca. Presenza in ogni stanza di ragnatele, tanta polvere, odore di muffa. D'estate la casa è molto calda e circondata da zanzare. Le zanzariere ci sono ma sono rotte. Un altro problema la strada e mancanza di parcheggio. Ma ciò che ci ha costretti a andare via prima della fine del soggiorno la presenza di scorpioni. In conclusione purtroppo una vacanza rovinata.

Familienurlaub

Gute funktionale Unterkunft für Familienurlaub in den Bergen mit wandern, canyoning, klettern und baden in Gumpen. Kultur gibt es in Pisa und Lucca und zum Strand kommt man auch in einer Fahrzeit von unter einer Stunde. Unsere Kinder waren unter anderem begeistert vom Pinocchio-Park in Collodi. Von dem Ferienhaus kann man fußläufig in Bagni die Lucca einkaufen und gut essen. Insgesamt war es ein ruhiger, entspannender Urlaub.
