Peaceful and relaxing
Great base to explore the area. The studio is very well presented and has everything you need for a short stay. We appreciated having the option of adding mattress toppers to the bed. We particularly enjoyed relaxing in the garden, so peaceful. Located in a lovely village. We enjoyed a meal and entertainment at the pub. There's a great local shop with a really friendly lady who makes fantastic bacon baps.

About the host

Host profile image
My husband, Neil, and I renovated The Cart House and The Studio from derelict buildings in 2010. We loved the location and character of the buildings and walled courtyard. We have spent many happy years living in this beautiful area and are constantly exploring new walks to do in the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean.

You have a pretty, well furnished patio in front of the studio overlooking the courtyard garden and water feature where you can relax and enjoy a bbq. We have made every effort to equip the studio with everything you would need for a comfortable and relaxing weekend
