It is set within rural Rutland the landscape of which lends itself to walking, cycling and generally exploring Middle England. A bus service runs in both directions every two hours and the A1 (4 miles away) provides an excellent link both north and south. Towns such as Uppingham, Stamford, Peterborough and Leicester are also all easily accessible. Nearby Rutland Water is famous for its water sports and bird watching activities and has a cycle track/footpath around its perimeter.
