About this property

The Coach House which is situated in Woodstown, is on the beautiful Suir river estuary in Co. Waterford, Ireland. It is located in 4 acres of quiet woodlands just five minutes walk from Woodstown and Forenaught beaches and only ten minutes drive from the picturesque fishing village of Dunmore East. Whether you want a hideaway for a quiet week or two, to write or paint or walk or do nothing, or if you wish to base yourself in a centrally located coastal area ideally positioned for local touring, this is the place for you.
The restoration and refurbishment of the Coach House at Mount Alto was completed in 2008 to a very high quality standard of finish which is maintained by continuous improvement. The unit is heated by oil-fired under floor heating. Water heating is by central heating and electric immersion heater. An external enclosed private patio is accessible from the lower living area. Broadband internet (Wi-Fi) is provided free for normal internet usage. The accommodation is a smoke free zone. Also we regret that we are unable to cater for pets.
There is a 7 night minimum for bookings during high season, ie. June to September. For the reminder of the year, a 3 night minimum booking applies.

Little slice of Heaven

Brendan and Jeans Coach House is a beautiful hidden gem...always a lovely welcome, fabulous location, wonderfully appointed with everything you need...if you ever need to recharge your batteries this is the place to come...love it

Lovely relaxing stay

We felt at home straight away...cleanliness and comfort were better than other stays in the area we have stayed in before. We would definitely go back and stay in the future. Brendan and Jean were lovely hosts and we appreciated the lovely welcome of home made bread and lots of other treats we found when we arrived.

Wonderful place to stay

The Coach House is in such a peaceful, lovely setting, surrounded by trees and very close to a couple of beaches. It is furnished to a very high standard and the outside spaces are perfect for sunbathing and eating outdoors. Brendan and Jean were the perfect hosts and have thought of everything.

Exceptional comfort - delightful experience.

This beautifully adorned cosy place was totally reviving and Had all we needed. They were surprise extra treats which was very generous but the most special part was our welcome and we were spoilt and enjoyed our stay very much indeed. I would highly recommend staying here as it was an unforgettable experience for us.
