Another lovely holiday.
This is the second time my family have stayed here and once again we had a thoroughly good time. The house has everything you need for a fantastic getaway from it all.

Great family home
Great location in reach of nice pubs and walks. Large garden for children and adults alike to enjoy, great pool table in the garage games room, expansive DVD collection for all ages, host was easy to contact and available. Well equipped kitchen for self-catering when consecutive pub lunches get too much. Very happy with our stay, would highly recommend to others.

Fabulous family holiday
A long overdue & rescheduled family holiday! House was great with everything you could possibly need available in the house. Garden was too large (not a complaint at all) for us as we had small children with us but it did make for a great Easter Egg hunt. Even though it was quieter than expected it really worked well for us not having a pub, shop or tea room to be constantly popping out to. Proper switch off time! Do your research, there are lots of unexpected treats a within a 20/30 min drive! Highlights for us included stumbling across the ‘centre of Britain’ stone in Haltwhistle, making the trek out to Sycamore Gap, Solway Aviation Museum AND having fresh eggs & honey right over the road!! Not forgetting the many parts of Hadrian’s Wall ☺️ Altogether wonderful thank you x

New Year Break
Great house to get together in for New Year with family and friends. We were a group of 7, mixed ages. There was plenty space to spread out and relax, enjoyed the big table to play board games round.

Christmas at The Chapel
5 adults and four children had 4 excellent days here over Christmas. A few niggles which are common in a high use rental property but these did not affect our stay. Owner advised so hopefully will put right. The accommodation was great and the house is an excellent space for family and friends to gather. The garage has been turned into a games area and the garden is huge. In the summer it will be a wonderful place for all. There are even various pairs of wellies to borrow. Our children made good use of the games room which gave the adults time to breathe. Facilities for cooking, washing and eating were excellent. The wine cooler was a nice extra but maybe a second fridge (under worktop) would be more beneficial. Two freezers was also a bonus. Large oven dealt with all our needs. TV’s in every bedroom, large one in lounge. A dvd library, approx 700 and also extensive cd collection. Excellent beds and bedding. Did I mention the lounge!!! This space is wonderful. Large sofas and a wood burner, with endless supply of logs. The central heating and under floor heating also kept us warm. All in all an excellent few days away. Go for it!
