Lovely Cottage, lovely location
Ideal for spending time in and around Grasmere; the river path is on the doorstep. The host was very responsive and available if we needed him. Be aware that the master bedroom, with the shower, is in the attic up a steep set of stairs.

Fantastic location, nice cottage
No problems at all in communication and location is fantastic. Property was very well equipped, and garden area was private despite the central location. The property is a little dated, and a couple of things weren’t working like the jacuzzi bath and hob ignition but they could easily be rectified. I would also recommend replacing the wardrobe in the bunk bed room with a tall set of drawers or something more practical. Overall the cottage and the week was very enjoyable and the access to the local hotel pool was an excellent added extra. Thanks again to Martin

Lovely cottage in perfect location
We had a wonderful week staying in this lovely cottage situated in the centre of Grasmere, yet in a quiet and relaxing spot. The cottage was exactly what we wanted for our stay and was clean and comfortable. The stair case to the top bedroom with en suite bath and shower was a little steep but this wasn't a problem for us. Unfortunately there was no access to the swimming pool during our stay, however we were lucky enough to have good weather and swam in the lake to cool off. Grasmere is the perfect base for exploring the Lakes and we had some fantastic days out without having to drive too far at all. Good public transport as well. Would recommend.
