You are about 10 minutes stroll from the sea or harbour whose maritime promenade is lined up with palm trees and miles of sandy beaches. There are plenty of restaurants and cafeterias playing live music which makes it very pleasant to dine out. From the airport you can get a taxi to the apartment in Puerto del Carmen. About the host

I am retired, used to be a TV service engineer then I went to telecommunications. I studied electronics, lived in London and Sussex for a good number of years and married a young English lady, (I was young too!!). Some time later we came to the Canaries on holiday , liked it , and decided to move to the Canary Islands. We have two children. (now adults) I have a passion for motorcycles and sailing; last year I motorcycled from Lanzarote to Shrewsbury where my daughter lives. I have also enjoyed skippering a ketch in this archipelago. In my younger days we used to do long walks with the YHA as well as rock climbing with the mountaneering association. We try to go to UK visiting friends as often as we can .

Why they chose this property

Because we love Lanzarote. Puerto del Carmen is a tourist paradise with superb blue seas. Our swimming pool is also very enjoyable. The property is near the shops, restaurants, bus stop, health center, post office etc. as well as in the old town.

What makes this property unique

The night life down-town, the peacefulness in the complex, the fact that everything is at hand .We are situated between the Biosphere shopping centre and Lidle hypermarket. Everything is withing walking distance
