Beautiful Villa With Private Pool And Stunning Sea Views

Villa Elia is a beautiful country style pool villa situated in it's own olive grove on a hillside overlooking the picturesque whitewashed town of Skoplelos and out to the sea beyond. The villa is fully equipped and beautifully decorated in warm colours with local art and ceramics throughout and special attention has been given to comfortable furnishings and bedding. Although Villa Elia has featured in an interiors magazine, it is very much a family villa and it's style is rustic and relaxed. This is not a typical "holiday let", the kitchen is fully equipped with all mod cons including an extensive collection of kitchen equipment and Greek cookery books. There are plenty of pool toys, books, board games and a great DVD library for guests to enjoy. There is also an I-pod dock, wifi and music system with cd collection. The linens and towels are top quality throughout. The house and gardens are full of shady spots and covered terraces to sit, relax and enjoy.

Beautiful, homely, great location, amazing hosts

Sally and Bill were wonderful, staying in touch with fantastic tips, making sure we were ok etc. The house is perfect in every way- beautifully finished but homely and with everything you need, even boardgames for the rainy day, a blender for if you feel like whipping up some delicious Greek food, soft linen and comfy beds. The view is breathtaking, and we spent many evenings G&T in hand just watching the lights of Skopelos and the harbour slowly turn on. We would love to return again and thank Sally and Bill for an incredible 2 weeks

When we walked in it was jaw dropping . The photos don't do it justice . Stunningly beautiful

The villa was outstanding . Beautifully presented , well fitted out with all the things we needed . You can see a lot of thought has gone into it . The views are amazing. Sally gave us so much information on where to go and what to do and this proved beyond value .

Perfect Greek Island Villa

Let's start with the owner. We have rented many Villas through VRBO, and Sally is the most obliging and helpful host we've encountered, anywhere. She gave us precise instructions, spot-on recommendations, and immediately replied to any queries. We endured a mini heatwave on Skopelos early in the week, and when one of the bedroom fans broke down Sally had a replacement delivered the same day! Location. Skopelos is a delightfully unspoilt island, with a laid back feel even in early peak season, attracting it seems more Greek families than package tourists. The island is worth exploring particularly the secluded beach coves of the west coast. The villa is about 2km up hill from Skopelos Town, which can be walked but a car is recommended for exploring the island and those quick runs to the bakery/supermarket., or into town for dinner. The view over town and harbour from the villa is amazing, photos do not do it justice, we spent hours on the deck just taking it in. The villa itself is an absolute delight. Set in lovely gardens dominated by olive trees, lavender, and rosemary. It has an eminently country feel with stone walls and timber beamed ceilings. Four good sized bedrooms, one of which was a self contained studio, perfect for our family of five and another couple. Everything in this immaculate house works. There are numerous outdoor areas where people can grab a little separate "me" time, or congregate together on the large deck overlooking the pool and beyond to Skopelos Town and the Aegean. Divine! I am struggling to think of any point for improvement. We Aussies would have enjoyed more sport on the cable TV in a week of Wimbledon and the Tour de France, but that's not why were there. Sally is having air conditioning installed this season, to cope with those really hot nights. However, the villa catches a lovely breeze coming up from the harbour and is well designed with cross ventilation. We had a magical week at Villa Elia and highly recommend it to any family looking for a memorable stay on a beautiful Greek island.
