Perfect break away...
Lavender Cottage is an absolute gem!! So cosy, gorgeous decor and lovely little touches, including a super hamper of goodies. The log burner was very welcome as weather wasn't great, but that didn't matter as we cosied up inside with a roaring fire, scrumptious food and drink and good books...just perfect!! A very relaxing break and we shall definitely be back! Thank you Helen and also to Kelly for your warm welcome.

Yorkshire September retreat
They say that good things come in small packages and this is a case in point for this pretty little cottage. Nicely decorated with lots of attention t detail; we enjoyed our stay there in September exploring the lovely rolling Yorkshire countryside.

My name is Helen Charlton and I own and run Lavender Cottage along with my gorgeous housekeeper Kelly, we always do our best to make sure you enjoy your holiday and we hope you love our lovely cottage as much as we do .

Why they chose this property

I loved Whitby and the surrounding area as a child, so that's where I looked for a gorgeous retreat, and Lavender Cottage stole my heart as soon as I saw it.
Although it did need quite a lot of love and hard work to bring it back from the 1970's interior!!
This is a very special romantic retreat, and you will discover that our lovely Lavender has been tastefully refurbished with vintage finds, seaside paintings, local antiques and lots of luxurious fabrics.
It's been a labour of love.

What makes this property unique

Lavender is perfect for happy holidays and celebrations!
It has lots of special touches...... Emma Bridgewater pottery, a gorgeous antique French bed, and the whole cottage has a homely, comfortable feel. Just kick off your shoes, relax, unwind… and enjoy!!
