The Lodge
Wow,just perfect for us! Secluded, but only 10 mins from Oxford,so would suit all. The walking in Shotover-Royal Forest-was an added bonus, our dog came home on the Saturday for a rest!!! Mark, have to commend you for providing such a brilliant short break. However, the reasons why only 4 stars,is that the shower needs attention as flow and heat poor. Also, no light bulbs present in bedroom-wall n ceiling. That apart, would definitely recommend this property and hope to visit again in October!

Great place to stay for 2
The stable lodge is a very welcoming place to stay for 2 (+ dog). Nicely decorated, very private, great views and just a 5 minute walk to the medieval Royal Forest of Shotover! The entrance to the property has a secured gate. The lodge has a very nice terrace as well.
