"Beautifully appointed cottage"
A beautifully appointed cottage; roomy and spotless with great views. Good kitchen and bathroom facilities. Good garden for sitting out too. Close to steam railway and local trains at Grosmont, with a very useful local minibus outside the gate. So you don't need a car - as long as you don't mind a steep uphill walk from the village where there is a very useful independent Co-op store. Good walking country too. A good place to "get away from it all"
Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with teenagers and families with young children
Thank you Valley View…
For giving us such a fun week, visiting so many of the amazing surroundings and so much enjoyment on the steam trains. Lovely memories to keep of a special birthday.
First class accommodation…
Very well thought out, short of nothing, very clean and tidy. Lovely area with fine views. Great for walkers and train buffs. We will be back!
Well equipped cottage. We have had a great half term break – hardly used the car just foot and train. Just one (very) wet day! Thoroughly enjoyed our “Railway Children” holiday!
