Mignano boasts a beautiful castle to visit , Castello Ettore Fieramosca, Mignano Montelungo, in the heart of Mignano. Mignano has quaint bars and restaurants . Also you can visit the local mozzarella making shop , family run and local wine yards in the nearby villages, just on the casalina outside of mignano on the road to Cassino.

Cassino is a large town with shops and supermarkets , theatre also you can visit the very famous
Monte Cassino monastery high up in the top of Cassino , full of history and much visited from tourists all over the world. The Caserta palace Royal is well worth a visit full of history of the Italian royalty , beautiful gardens and a cascade of fountains.
The beaches are only 45 minutes away . Or if not and staying at home .

Such a beautiful villa and location excellent for a wide range of locations. Marina and Joe were great hosts and nothing was a problem. Would rent this villa again

Brilliant villa in the stunning Italian countryside

The villa was very nicely presented. The photos don't do it justice as when we arrived we were stunned by the views and size of the property. The pool was far better than expected with the sun dazzling on the water all day. It was a short drive to a lidl and scattered around were lots of small towns with markets and cafes. So worth it.

Fabulous holiday

The villa is situated in a wonderful location with fantastic views over the surrounding countryside and mountains. We were a party of 7 adults and the villa was spacious and comfortable. The pool area is the best we have ever come across having visited many villas before. The pool is huge and was very warm as the weather was incredible during our visit. We found a lovely Pizzeria Restaurant fairly close by towards Cassino and the local supermarket we visited was adequate to our needs, especially as we prepared our own food most nights. Stefano the gardener was very helpful and dealt with minor maintenance issues within the house and Marina, the owner, was always happy to take calls/answer texts to deal with any queries we had. Monte Cassino was an interesting place to visit and we went on Saturday when the market was on in Cassino. We had a lovely holiday and time constraints meant we could only stay 1 week although we would have loved to stay longer. Thank you!

Lovely property with fantastic grounds, in charming and beautiful countryside.

We spent a wonderful week at Villa Treta. The villa was lovely, though most of our time was spent outdoors in the most beautiful grounds. Stefano the gardener came daily and the poolside and eating areas were so well kept. We had a relaxing week, venturing out only a couple of times for day trips to Rome by train (very easy) and Monte Cassino. (Pompeii and other places are close enough for a day trip but we were moving south for our second week so saved them for then). Local shops are close by and some really good restaurants are within easy driving distance. It was a lovely week and would definitely book again as was a really charming part of Italy.

Fantastic villa with an amazing pool!

We had a wonderful time at Villa Treta. There were 10 of us travelling and there was plenty room for all of us. We had family about 40 mins away so it was a great location to visit them along with visiting Rome (train about 90 mins) from Cassino and had our hired cars to travel to Pompei (Ruins were amazing!). Have to mention the Abbey at Monte Cassino which was just stunning! The kids just loved the pool and didn't want to leave. As the weather was pretty hot the pool was a great place to relax. It was sad to leave but we have great memories of our holiday here. ❤️

Hello my name is Marina and my husband is Joe. We are both of Italian origin and would love to show you the real Italy deep in the South with our beautiful villa, a family home for many years. The villa is a very special place to us and we wish to share with you. Joe's family and mine are from the area and have holidays there every year. We love meeting new people we stay in the apartment below the villa as we take care of the Gardens and pool area.

Why they chose this property

We built the house ourselves with help from Joe's father, the villa was built with great passion and care. We did this so we and our family will always have roots in their homeland Italy. It is peaceful and private and will open up the real Italy to all those Italian lovers.

What makes this property unique

This property has everything you need and is very easy access to Rome our Naples and the Amalfi coast by car or train. There are plenty of Supermarkets a new Hospital and plenty of places to eat . We are not far from the sea coast about 45 minutes by car down the motorway. But most of all we offer peace ,privacy and tranquillity away from the bustle of life to choose whenever you wish on your holiday.
There is the small town of Mignano which boasts a beautiful castle well worth a visit , bars and restaurants. The larger town of Cassino is only 6 km away and has everything even a theatre, also above Cassino the historic abbey , Monte Cassino, full of history and beautiful breathtaking views from the top , well worth a visit .
