Newly built in 2010 Apartment Amber is a luxury two bedroom duplex penthouse apartment set in the exclusive holiday destination of Kalkan. With its breathtaking views, infinity pool & rooftop terrace this apartment is the perfect place from which to experience the delights that Kalkan has to offer. On the first floor of the apartment you will find an open plan kitchen lounge and a spacious twin bedroom. Both rooms benefit from the apartmentís spectacular views of Kalkan. Each room has access to the first floor balcony where the view can be enjoyed both day & night. The first floor also boasts a beautifully tiled shower room & storage cupboard. On the top floor of the Apartment there is a king size bedroom with en-suite bathroom including jacuzzi bath. The most amazing views of Kalkan village & harbour are once again showcased from both rooms and the adjacent patio & roof top terrace. Apartment Amber is one of four apartments sharing the outside area including infinity pool & pergola. Historical sites of interest are also accessible from Kalkan you can visit the ruined city of Tlos and the island of Kekova. Kalkan is also convenient for trips to the ruins of Xanthos and Letoon. Kalkan is one of the top locations for scuba diving on the Turkish coast, you can also enjoy river canoeing at the Xanthos river and river tubing at the Saklikent Gorge. Every Thursday Kalkan hosts an open air market, local farmers sell fresh produce and many 'genuine fakes' are on sale! It's a good place to barter and grab a bargain.
Both bedrooms are front facing to capture the stunning sea and harbour views. The master bedroom has en-suite bathroom facilities with jacuzzi bath, shower and picture window to the sea. From the master bedroom there is access to the private roof terrace which is large enough for sunbathing and dining. The twin bedroom also opens to a balcony terrace perfect for dining and enjoying the spectacular views. Travel cot available on request.

Notes on prices
- A 25% part payment is required to secure your booking with final payment due 10 weeks prior to departure. - A refundable security deposit of £250 is required to cover any breakages caused or arising during the period of hire. This will be paid back to the hirer within one week of departure from the apartment providing all is in order.
We can arrange your airport transfers with our local agent, along with car hire. Check in time for your arrival at the villa is from 4pm, on your departure day your check out time is 11am. We can be flexible depending on other guests arrival and departure times. We will try and accommodate all requests where possible.
Flights are available from all major U.K airports to Dalaman. From Dalaman your transfer time to Kalkan is just 1 hour 30 minutes. The transfer route itself is your first introduction to the beautiful landscape of Turkey, through forests of green pine trees, small quaint villages and the mountains that are the backdrop of the landscape.

"A simply amazing apartment - A gem of a find,"
We stayed in this apartment last June (2013) and had an amazing time. The owners have thought of everything! The apartment has got everything you need to enjoy a relaxing holiday. We had heard about the views looking out over the harbour, but nothing had prepared us for the views we woke up to each morning. They were simply stunning! The pictures do not do this apartment justice - the views are breathtaking, the apartment is clean and well thought out and the pool provides the ideal place for these who want to bake in the sun or chill in the shade. Chris, the owner, was really helpful and made the booking process really easy. He was with us each step of the way, sorting out car hire and advising us of the 'must' see places. We really enjoyed our time in Kalkan and our stay in apartment Amber. In fact, we loved it so much we have booked to return to apartment Amber this June for two weeks, taking my sister and her partner with us to experience this beautiful, tranquil place!

"Lovely Apartment with superb views."
The owners of this apartment go to great lengths to ensure you have a lovely stay. A week before we travelled, there was an email explaining everything you need to know about the transfers, the apartments, keys, contact numbers etc. The transfers were organised through the owners via taxi, as we arrived into the welcome area of the airport there was a taxi driver waiting with our names on his board, he knew exactly where the apartment was. The first thing that you will notice on arrival as you walk through into the Apartment Amber is the view, it is very impressive, we did not get tired of that. The rest of the apartment was very clean and modern. There is air-conditioning in each room, and as requested the previous tenants had left a full water bottle . The pool is very relaxed, and is only shared with 3 other apartments and you get the same lovely view from the infinity pool. The pool area is kept very clean and tidy by Zeki, say hello, he will help you with anything you need. The town of Kalkan was a lovely surprise. In the day I would recommend the beach clubs, in particular the Kalamar beach club, we went twice, it is very relaxing. For the men, you must get a Turkish shave!. In the evening, there is a large number of restaurants, we ate out every night and did not have a bad meal, it is particularly nice on the harbour, or a roof top restaurant. I would definitely recommend Kalkan and the Apartment Amber.

Just perfect, great apartment, great views , everything you need for a great holiday. Kalkan is a wonderful place with so many things to see and do . "Pure luxury and they thought of everything."
Before we arrived we had no idea what to expect and were slightly nervous. From our first enquiry, to paying for the trip and getting the details, Chris was exceptional and did everything to make sure we had everything we needed well in advance of the trip. When we got there Zeke ( the caretaker) got us water ( for almost nothing) and was always around to help out. The apartment was stunning, spotlessly clean and having looked at the position of all of the others around it, it must have the best view of the bay. The marble floors, and sliding patio doors allowed a nice breeze to run through the apartment and this was pure bliss in the evenings. The topside balcony was also great with a private seating area . The apartment is about a 15 minute walk from the town, theres a bit of a hill and while going down is easy enough, going up will keep you fit by the end of the two weeks. In Kalkan in general, we have never had the luxury of such good food form so many good restaurants so the hill helped work it off We couldn't cover everywhere in two weeks so we will certainly go back to stay at amber next time and will bring others. We hired a car for the two weeks were were there (chris also organised this for us at a great rate) and scouted around Islamalar ( the trout farms) , Fethya, Kas, as well as some of the other towns and smaller places in between. Our favourite food (fish mostly) was in the Coran Meze, the Olive garden and Trio. All in all we had a great trip, the apartment is smashing and well minded and the owners were fantastic. We would put it ahead of any 5 star hotel.

What a fabulous apartment. The attention to detail really made for an enjoyable stay. We have been coming to kalkan for many years and this holiday was made even more special by finding this real jewel of an apartment. Usually we spend a lot of time walking around the streets and hiring a car to travel around but this time we could not tear ourselves away from the fabulous rooftop balcony with its breathtaking views. By day the view is one of the best you get of the whole town and the harbour but at night it is magical. The moon reflecting in the dark sea and all the lights of the town outstretched before your eyes is just magical. Truly the place to be. We cannot wait to be back. Terri and Ian duncan
