    Property description

    This spacious and well equipped luxury apartment with communal pool has magnificent sea views from both inside and out. Leading out of the lounge and master bedroom is a terrace overlooking the Marina and Mediterranean where you can dine and have drinks in a tranquil setting. The apartment, set in an upmarket complex, is within 10 minutes walking distance to the beach, yacht marina and restaurants. There are a number of diving schools in the area and the apartment has a large underground store room suitable for storing diving equipment, bikes etc. There is direct access to the apartment from the underground car park via a lift. The weather is excellent all year round (average 18C in winter 32C in summer) and heating and air conditioning, along with satellite TV and BlueRay DVD player, make it an ideal rental for any time of the year. Wi-Fi is also available.

    Tropical Coast: The Tropical Coast continues to be an ongoing discovery. You can dine on delicious seafood and garden-fresh produce or participate like a native in the traditional festivals held each spring and summer in the “white towns” scattered along the 103 kilometres of coastline. Dotting the Tropical Coast are towers and fortresses that once served in days of old as watch posts during the Arab occupation.

    Nearby resorts: NERJA - Once a sleepy fishing village, the town now has a population of over 12,000 and offers plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from. Nerja boasts 16 kilometres of beaches, offering all major water sports. The heart of Nerja is its spectacular Balcón de Europa, a magnificent promenade along the edge of a towering cliff, once the site of the great Moorish castle.

    SALOBRENA - Whitewashed township clinging to huge lump of rock just back from the shoreline topped by a Moorish castle. The flower-filled streets contain centuries of history, and offer an array of restaurants.

    SIERRA NEVADA SKI RESORT- Sierra Nevada is located in the Penibetic mountain range in Andalucia. It is Europe´s southernmost ski resort and is endowed with the Iberian peninsula´s highest summits. With a total of 61 kilometers spread over 39 runs, plus 6 sensational off-course trails, Sierra Nevada offers the visitor a wide choice of activities.

    ALHAMBRA PALACE, Granada, overlooking the city of Granada, stands out as the most famous example of Moorish architecture, and perhaps it is the most known Muslim construction all in all.

    ALPUJARRAS - a spectacularly beautiful region, dominated by the Sierra Nevada and straddling the provinces of Granada and Almería. The region's natural beauty and that of its villages attracts walkers, hikers and trekkers from all over the world. Offering escorted walks and tours.

    ALMUNECAR - Aqua Tropic water park; Numerous water rides (Black Hole, zig-zags and many others) Water slides (Magic Mountain, Kamikaze etc). Open daily from 11.00h to 19.30h. Located at: Playa Velilla, Almunecar.

    GOLF COURSES - There are several golf courses in the area, the closest being at Salobrena - approx. 15 mins drive away and others at Nerja - approx. 20 mins drive.

    Important notes on accommodation

    A car is recommended because of the location of the apartment and also to enable you to explore this beautiful unspoilt part of Spain. For guests who are unfamiliar with the area, we recommend that you travel to the apartment during daylight hours. DVD player and a small supply of Cd's and Dvds are available in apartment. Also in the apartment is an iron, ironing board and hairdryer. Beach towels are not supplied. There are a number of sun beds, tables, chairs and parasols located by the communal pool which are free of charge. We have a travel cot and a highchair available on request.

    Location Information: Marina del Este is a luxurious complex situated in a designated area of natural beauty between Nerja and Almunecar. The marina is 1 hours drive from Malaga airport, 1 hour from Granada, 1.5 hours from the Sierra Nevada Ski Resort and 1 hour from the white villages of the Alpujarras. To the right of the marina lies the quaint fishing village of La Herradura (translated as The Horseshoe). La Herradura is one of the few remaining unspoilt villages offering a truly Spanish experience in a traditional environment, boasting an array of restaurants and traditional Spanish bars. There are supermarkets, banks, a newsagent, medical services, pharmacy, hairdressers and a fresh food market each morning. To the left is the larger and livelier town of Almunecar with its winding streets, popular Friday market and all the main facilities for shopping and services.     "great holiday"

    Myself and my wife and sister Jeanette had a great time at this apartment, enjoyed a most relaxing holiday. Had a wonderful meal in the Las Alpujarras . Boat trip was a great day out from marina .Looking forward to retuning next year. Ken , Tina, Jeannette.

    "A Beautiful Break!!"

    My wife and I have recently returned from a week here and everything was exactly what we could have wished for. Clean, smart, modern, spacious and tidy and fully equipped with all your essentials, we found it home from home. Idyllic views from the terrace of sunset and sunrise. There was a fantastic “Things to do” listing that had been carefully prepared outlining places to eat, drink, relax, getting out and about and generally where to have fun. There were recommendations, websites and contact telephone numbers even local taxi drivers that spoke English / Spanish. There were fantastic restaurants, bars and beaches nearby. I would recommend this to families or couples looking for adventure, a beach break or a complete chill out. Will definitely be booking again for next year!!!!

    "A fantastic retreat"

    This was our 6 th stay in this apartment and we are already planning on booking up for next summer . Last year we took our 1 year old daughter and she had the greatest time, the apartment was very safe for her to run around inside and even outside on the balcony. Such a lovely place with all you need for a relaxing get away. The fact that we come back year after year speaks for its self. Thank-you once again for a great holiday.

    Great appartment with an amazing view. Our first visit to this area of Spain and we found it to be a the perfect location, although la ot quieter than the usual destinations in Spain (not a bad thing) there is still plenty to do. Good selection of bars and resturants in La Herradura or in Almunecar. You will need a car. Will definatley be back.

    Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children and romantic getaway
