    Lovely modest 1 bedroom apartment in Spain. On the outskirts of Torrevieja, apartment is situated in Lago Jardin - a beautifully laid out complex of two-storey buildings with lovely mature gardens and trees throughout tucked away from the main roads. The huge communal pool with a Spanish bar / restaurant adjoining is only two minutes’ walk away. In the same area is a pretty public garden with a small church and also a tennis court. A major supermarket is 2 minutes walk away and a community centre with supermarket, numerous shops and restaurants is within 20 minutes walk. Superb blue-flag beaches are ten minutes away by car.

    Front terrace with table and 4 chairs for alfresco dining.

    Cleaning/Towels/Linen/Maid service:
    Towels and sheets provided (not beach towels). The apartment will be cleaned at the end of your stay and is included in the price. Mid break cleaning can be arranged, charged locally.

    Accessibility
    The apartment is on the ground floor with just 2 steps up from the garden to the accommodation. The car parking area is about 30 yards away on the service road.

    Outside
    Terrace area: Folding table and 4 garden chairs. There are beautiful gardens all around the complex and a small church is also available to use (weekly Anglican service on Saturdays at 6pm). Tennis courts, a lending library and a barbecue area are also available. The bar/restaurant is next to the pool, with a life guard on duty in high season. A Mercadona supermarket is 2 minutes walk away on the other side of the main road. The community centre is a 20 minute walk away, with banks, shops, bars and restaurants catering to all tastes.

    Important notes on accommodation

    Mosquito netting is fitted to all windows. No smoking please in any of the rooms. No pets please. The apartment is ideally suited to couples and families.
    English TV channels and free wifi available.
    Air Conditioning available at an additional cost of £20 per week.

    Notes on prices
    Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. All prices include electricity and water, and use of pool and gardens. English TV channels and free wifi available. Air Conditioning is available at an additional cost of £20 a week.

    Changeover day
    Changeover day is flexible subject to availability, arrival times after 3pm and departure at 10am, unless otherwise organised beforehand.

    Booking notes
    A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total rental cost is due at the time of booking to secure the dates required. The balance is due 4 weeks before the holiday date, plus a £50 refundable deposit against breakages. All bookings will be confirmed by email. The deposit will be returned within 2 weeks after the holiday less any breakages.
    There is a 10% discount for booking 15 nights or more for any month of the year.

    About the area

    Coast/Beach
    The local beaches hold blue flags for cleanliness, the nearest being about 10 minutes drive away. There are a wide variety of beaches, from those in Torrevieja town and marina, to the beautiful beaches at La Zenia and Cabo Roig. The latter area is particularly good for coastal walking.

    Golf
    For golf enthusiasts, Torrevieja is within easy drive of the golf courses at Villamartin (10-20 mins), Las Ramblas (15-25 mins), Campoamor (15-25 mins), La Finca (15-25 mins) and Golf and Country Club La Marquesa (15 mins).

    How to get there
    Murcia airport (San Javier) is geographically nearest at 30 minutes drive away. Alicante airport is 50 minutes. We advise hiring a car from the airport. Alternatively there are local buses and taxi's. From the new Hospital in Torrevieja, Los Balcones, head in the direction to San Miguel. Go straight over the next roundabout (Filton commercial centre) and at the 2nd roundabout (Mercadona supermarket) take a right onto the service road.

    Distances
    The apartment is on the outskirts of Torrevieja, which has bars, clubs and restaurants to suit all ages and tastes as well as a marina, beaches and promenade. It is a 10 minute drive to the commercial centre, with Carrefour and other hypermarkets and numerous shopping centres, cinemas, bowling alleys, restaurants and aquapark.

    Further Details
    There are many fascinating places to visit within easy reach, such as Guadalest, a tiny mountain village with only 200 inhabitants, yet one of the most visited tourist destinations in Spain. There is a nature reserve on the other side of the salt lake. Orihuela is a lovely, very Spanish town 30 minutes drive away, and Murcia is well worth a day visit with it's old Casino, University and general ambience of Spanish city life with restaurants, Tapas bars etc. Please note the owners are available via email for any queries that you may have during your stay. There are internet facilities at many local bars and restaurants.
