Suitable for families or couples on their own but also with the added advantage of being able to accommodate a family as well as friends or other family members. The gite has a kitchen/diner, a large living room, a downstairs double bedroom with adjacent bathroom facilities and a second large family bedroom upstairs with double bed, two singles again with adjacent bathroom.
    All set in 20 acres of beautiful rolling countryside on the Dordogne Charente border - plenty of space for children to play, with a large enclosed pool where the adults can sit and relax. To the rear of the gite there is a large garden with a dining area overlooking the trampoline, and swings and slides and the kids wooden hideout. Its the perfect spot for a relaxing holiday in the beautiful French countryside.

    Bathroom 1, adjacent to bedroom 1, with basin, WC and large shower. Bathroom 2, adjacent to bedroom 2, with basin, WC and bath.

    Kitchen:
    Gas oven with 4 ring hob, microwave, fridge freezer, toaster, dining table.

    Utility Room:
    Washing machine, Iron and ironing board, Rotary washing line.

    Living Rooms:
    Large living room, 5 metres x 5 metres with 3 seater settee, 2 armchairs, Sky TV, DVD and video players,(films available), Hi-Fi, board games. WiFi broadband available.

    Cleaning/Towels/Linen/Maid service:
    Bedding and bathroom towels included, but please bring your own pool towels.

    Accessibility
    Unfortunately, due to the age and construction of the building, wheel chair access is not possible. There is, however, a downstairs bedroom with bathroom which is suitable for people with limited mobility. Access to the upstairs is via a spiral staircase.

    Notes on prices
    Prices include all gas, electric, bedlinen and bathroom towels.

    Changeover day
    Changeover day is normally Saturday. We will be here to welcome you on arrival day anytime after 4pm and we ask you to vacate the gite by 10.30 am on your departure. We also ask you to leave the gite as clean and tidy as when you arrived.

    Booking notes
    We ask for a deposit of 25% to secure a booking and then the balance becomes due 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday. Payment can be made by bank transfer to either an English or French bank account or by cheque. Where payment is made in sterling we provide a current exchange rate. For late bookings we can decide on the best payment method for both parties.
    Although bookings generally run from Saturday to Saturday, outside of the peak season we can sometimes be more flexible.

    Airports at Bergerac,(40 miles), Limoges, (64 miles), Bordeaux, (80 miles), Poitiers,(95 miles). Calais to Verteillac is approx.500 miles, (8hrs 30 mins), Caen to Verteillac, approx. 320 miles, (6hrs 30 mins). We would strongly recommend the need for a car to get the most out of your holiday.
