Barbecue is provided and are a favourite in the warm Portuguese evenings with the underwater pool lights as a back-drop.

How to get there
40 minutes from Faro airport.
Oasis Parque is a highly desirable development with a delightful setting. Just five minutes from the cosmopolitan town of Portimao and the new marina, it is also close to the fishing village of Alvor, which provides excellent restaurants in the evening. Praia da Rocha is also 5 minutes away and Albufeira is approx 20 minutes away
Beaches & towns - Oasis Parque is just 7 minutes (5km) from the safe, sandy beaches at Alvor, Vau and Praia da Rocha. The Western Algarve hosts spectacular scenery with a magnificent coastline featuring honey coloured cliffs, caves and endless breathtaking sandy beaches washed by the glistening Atlantic Ocean. The historic towns of Loule, Lagos and Silves (with a 12th century castle) are all a short drive away.
Local amenities: Shopping & restaurants – There are two large supermarkets within walking distance, Intermarche and Jumbo at Portimão Retail Park, Aqua Portimão. Aqua Portimão, which cost 106 million euros to build, is now open with 117 stores, covering 35,500 square metres and is the fourth largest shopping mall in Portimão after the Retail Park, the Retail Centre and the Continente Shopping Centre for clothing, sportswear and general items
Portimao is good for shopping, restaurants and banking together with all the attractions of the harbour and its 16th century wall. No holiday is complete without a visit to the sardine restaurants on the harbour side in Portimao.
Praia da Rocha has some superb restaurants both along the walkway and at the Marina.
Alvor is excellent for restaurants and is a traditional small fishing village which has not lost its character. There are exquisite fish restaurants as well as cosmopolitan restaurants and you can either eat at the waterfront or in the village itself.
Also nearby is Lagos, where there is a new marina you can find numerous restaurants or take a stroll around the old town, again with many good restaurants and a good shopping location.
Local amenities: Things to do - For family fun visit an Aqua park, swim with dolphins at the Zoo Marine or experience a safari in the mountains. As well as the Boavista Golf Resort, Penina Golf and Alto Golf, there are many water sports available nearby, including: scuba diving; snorkelling; windsurfing; or
House swap considered.

About the Owner
I live in England with my 2 children Bradley and Liberty and work with my business partner importing goods from overseas together with managing the property rental business. We like to spend most of our holidays at the villa and are always upgrading and modernising the decor and furnishings and keeping the property to a high standard and maintained. We love our home in the Algarve and are sure you will too ! New to 2013 is the "Love Bed" which is a fantastic way to spend an afternoon relaxing with a book and glass of sangria (or two :-) ) Hope that you visit us soon - Obrigado !

Why this location?
We love Oasis Parque because of the well maintained and on site secure facilities. There are some beautiful beaches and both the Praia Da Rocha marina and Alvor village boast a great range of bars and restaurants. The area is easily accessible with Faro airport less than 40mins drive away. Although the villa has its own heated pool with underwater lighting, Oasis Parque also has a huge indoor heated pool with Jacuzzi, Tennis Courts and play park together with cafe / restaurant which is ideal in the evenings with themed nights and BBQ's ! The Villa was built by a renown UK builder which again attracted us to buy in this area and after several years the villa still looks as good as new.
What are the unique benefits of the property?
What we enjoy as a family is the privacy and security of the villa and its surrounding area. The Oasis Parque complex has an ex-pat community, which all keep an eye out for one anothers property. It is so nice to get away from day-to-day normal life in the UK and have peace of mind that within a 2.5hr flight, you can be lazing in the heated pool with a chilled glass of Sangria and a bowl of olives whilst sunbathing. The villa is constantly being maintained and upgraded to ensure the property and furnishings are kept to as high a standard as possible. This in turn seems to attract the better rental guests who also look after the villa and treat it as their own !
