    Sleeps 6. 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom historic stone/modern villa in wine-route village with pool and panoramic mountain and sea views. Offers a unique combination of restored original features with a modern kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, and a high level of equipment including free Wifi, UK radio and TV. Situated in a quiet village with plenty of privacy, the villa makes a lovely base for exploring local area: 3 km from Kathikas with local tavernas and all amenities. 20 minutes to beaches at Lachi, Coral Bay as well as to Lara Bay. Combines the best of Cypriot rural life and proximity to the Akamas national park, with access to activities & amenities such as Paphos world heritage site, beaches, restaurants, nightlife and kids activities of the surrounding area.

    Bedrooms:
    Bedroom 1 has a double bed and a fitted wardrobe, Bedroom 2 has a double bed and the adjoining 3rd bedroom has twin beds. Both bedrooms 2 and 3 have wardrobes. All bedrooms have air conditioning.

    Bathrooms:
    Bathroom 1 has a bath with shower and wc. It serves bedroom 2 and 3. Bathroom 2 has a WC and large shower and serves bedroom 1.

    Kitchen:
    Modern, well equipped modern kitchen with AEG gas hob, overhead extractor, oven cooker, Bosch fridge and freezer, microwave, dishwasher. Corian worktops. Also includes food processor and other equipment for keen cooks.

    Utility Room:
    Bosch washing machine and Bosch dryer

    Living Rooms:
    Authentic stone-built family room with all modern comforts including: two leather sofas, coffee table, bookcase, books and games. Entertainment equipment include 37" flat screen TV, DVD/Blu Ray player, local cable TV and UK Freeview via Slingbox.

    Other:
    Large BoConcept dining table with 12 chairs in a modern large room opening up from kitchen area. Also contains a beautifully restored traditional Cypriot oven. Facilities also include free Wifi, Internet Radio/iPod dock, laptop and printer.

    Cleaning/Towels/Linen/Maid service:
    Towels (except beach towels) and linen are included. Towels and linen changed weekly. Pool is cleaned at least weekly in the winter and twice weekly in summer.

    About the area

    Coast/Beach
    There are many beaches nearby. The most popular are: Coral Bay (20 minutes drive) offers golden sand, loungers and umbrellas, and watersports. Lara Bay is 20 minutes' drive down a road that starts below the Villa. Lara is a unspoilt sandy beach with no development and no facilities. Latchi is also 20 minutes drive towards Polis and is pebbly rather than sandy. Watersports and restaurants are available.

    Golf
    There are several excellent golf courses in the area. The closest are at Minthis Hills (Tsada) (17km), Secret Valley (34km) and Aphrodite Hills (31km).

    Skiing
    Skiing is available in the Troodos mountains (around 1.5 hours).

    How to get there
    Nearest airports are Paphos (about 45 minutes) and Larnaca (about 2 hours). Car hire is essential for Villa Angela.

    "Even better than it looks in the photos"

    We arrived late at night for a week long stay and the villa blew us away. It's beautiful and so well restored with amazing modern luxuries built in around the original features and architecture. Then, when we had woken up after a great nights sleep, we went outside and saw that view. It's breathtaking - mountains, vineyards, olive trees and the sea which seemed to never end. I cannot recommend this villa highly enough and we will definitely be returning next year. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday

    "Entre mer et montagne, Chypre authentique"

    Nous avons passé une semaine en avril dans cette jolie villa réaménagée avec soin, goût et respect du passé. Toute le confort nécessaire est prévu pour que vous y passiez un séjour inoubliable. Vous y rentrez et tout le stress de la ville s'en va. De beaux et grands espaces pour respirer. La vue y est splendide. Les collines colorées et au loin la mer. Nous étions 2 adultes et 2 enfants. L'espace est idéal pour une grande famille aussi. Bravo aux propriétaires pour cette réussite architecturale. Nous y reviendrons. Néanmoins, il vous faut une voiture pour circuler et vous ravitailler. Bonnes vacances.

    "A small piece of heaven"

    We just got back from a wonderful 10 days at Villa Angela. Of course we knew what the villa looked liked, having spent weeks visiting and re-visiting the website in anticipation of a great holiday, but nothing quite prepared us for the scale, architectural genius, luxury and breathtaking views that Villa Angela offers. That first night as we wandered around, jaded from work and tired from the journey, we found ourselves darting from room-to-room, laughing in delight at the discovery that we’d arrived in our own little heaven. Could this whole beautiful place really be just be for us? We were a bit nervous booking somewhere a little out the way, but as the sun came up that first morning to reveal panoramic and undisturbed views of the countryside and glistening ocean, all concerns were gone. It’s a view we rushed back to every day and a view we stared at until the sun selfishly went down each evening. Scrumptious beds and pillows, a kitchen fitted out for all manner of chefs and cooks, history, authentic Cyprus, village walks, a short drive to bars and restaurants, a herb garden, the odd cockerel and a place to completely chill out.     I would just like to say we all had an amazing holiday and the weather was fab just a shame we had to come home. My dad fell in love with the villa and location. Over the years we have been some amazing places but this year is the first he said he could return every year. I definitely think we would like to book up again for next year. (Claire)

    I'm a Cypriot living in the UK. Villa Angela was built by restoring and combining my grandparents' house with the cottage they built for my mother's dowry.

    Villa Angela is special to me because not only was I born there, but it has been in my family for over 100 years. The villa has been lovingly restored combining traditional materials and craftsmanship with the best of modern construction methods. We love the traditional oven which is now part of the dining room, the stone-built living room which has a tree-trunk supporting the roof as the original did and the fantastic views over the fields to the sea. If you're looking for an interesting, quiet, classy and well appointed place from which to explore western Cyprus then look no further!
