The house is in a perfect location within a short walk of the fabulous main Alcossebre beach and the town centre. The house, which is on a small gated community of 28 has a private enclosed garden, upstairs and downstairs terraces and shares a large pool. The house and location are perfect for families or those who don't want the hassle of having to use the car every time they go out. Alcossebre is a lovely unspoiled Spanish town with fabulous clean beaches and a large selection of restaurants and shops. The town is a perfect base for exploring some beautiful, largely undiscovered, parts of Spain.

The property will be cleaned prior to your arrival and a hand and bath towel is provided for each guest (please bring your own beach towels). A change of laundry will be provided at the end of each full weeks stay.

The house is perfect for children as the garden is fully enclosed. The communal pool is around 50 meters away within the gated community. It has a shallow children's area as well as the main pool.

Changeover day is flexible.
A 25% deposit is payable (non refundable) on booking with balance of 75% payable 4 weeks prior to arrival. A damage protection deposit of £100 must be paid at this time with the balance due.

About the area
The nearest beach, which is the largest in Alcossebre, is only 200 metres away. It is a fabulous, very clean beach and is very safe for children. In peak season you can hire sun beds, pedalos and boats.
There are 3 excellent golf courses within a 30 minute drive. These include the Panoramica Championship course, which is one of Spain's best courses and has hosted the Spanish Ladies Open for the last 3 years.
How to get there
Valencia airport is just over 1 hour by car.
Reus airport is 1.5 hours by car.
Barcelona airport is just over 2 hours by car.
Car hire is advised to get to the resort, but is not absolutely necessary while you are there.
Approximate driving times to places of interest: Peniscola 20 minutes. Morella 50 minutes. Valencia 1 hour. Port Aventura (Universal's theme park) 1.5 hours.
Barcelona 2.5 hours. Benicassim water park 20 minutes.
Alcossebre is a rare jewel on the Spanish coastline. It has managed to retain its Spanish charm and has not been spoiled by mass tourism. This applies to the majority of the Costa Azahar, which is the main orange producing area of Spain. There a many traditional Spanish towns within a short drive as well as some stunning scenery. The towns of Peniscola and Morella are certainly worth visiting.

We had a great week at this house. Location is superb with just a 5 minute walk to an excellent beach and 10 mins into the centre of town where there is a good selection of restaurants and bars. The house itself has a communal pool close by but we never used it due to the proximity of the beach. The house is very well presented - clean and spacious and on a very secure gated complex. We couldn't fault the accommodation in any way nor the helpfulness of the owners in providing advice and assistance if needed. A great holiday.

"Family Holiday in Alcossebre"
We stayed in this 3-bed Town House in Alcossebre in July and August of this year. We had a most relaxing time and the house is located in a very convenient part of town with easy access to the beach and facilities. It was easy to find and the house is well furnished with 3 good sized bedrooms which meant our 2 boys slept in separate bedrooms! That might have helped with the relaxation. The pool within the complex was great which we used at least twice everyday. It was never particularly busy and was perfect for a refreshing swim after a day out. The garden was also a very pleasant spot to watch the stars come out in the evening and meet the friendly neighbourhood geckos. It was very hot when we were there and the upstairs of the house and the street in front of the house can get hot during direct sunlight. Enjoyed the laid back atmosphere of Alcosebbre and the mix of nationalities holidaying there. We will be back one day! Paul

About the Owner
Dave and Sally Derham live in an old farmhouse on the outskirts of Bristol. Dave runs his own coaching and consultancy business whilst Sally is a therapist specialising in panic attacks and phobias, working largely on the recommendation of local GP's. Dave and Sally have always been keen on property design and serious DIY. They are currently carrying out their most ambitious project to date - a barn conversion, which they plan to move into as soon as it is finished. They are doing most of the building work themselves and have found it a massive learning exercise! As well as doing therapy work, Sally works with a local rescue centre to rehabilitate problematic dogs which have been abandoned. Dave relaxes by playing guitar and rebuilding classic cars and motorcycles.

Why this location?
We first visited the Cost Del Azahar in 1996 and fell in love with it immediately. It is a very rare jewel which has retained its genuine Spanish charm and has avoided the blight of mass tourism. Having spent several holidays exploring the area and looking for our ideal property, we finally found our dream and bought the house in 2002. Shortly after this, we both started working for ourselves and are now able to spend a lot more time in Spain. The more time we spend there the more we love it.
What are the unique benefits of the property?
Alcossebre is a wonderfully relaxing place to be. We feel the weight fall off our shoulders every time we arrive! The character of the place changes throughout the year, which makes it very interesting. In winter it is quite quiet, but significantly warmer and sunnier than the UK. In peak season there is a real buzz about the place. We really like the fact that Alcossebre is not full of Brits - the majority of people there are Spanish, although there is a nice mixture of British, French, German, Dutch and Scandinavian visitors. Enough people here speak English to make life easy. There is a great choice of restaurants within a short walk. The beaches are fabulous. There is a endless list of great places to visit if you are the exploring type - which we are!
