    Golf
    The local Chamonix golf course is just 5 minutes drive away, it is an 18 hole very well designed course that offers something for players at all levels.

    Skiing
    The apartment is just a 1 minute walk to the Brevent ski lift and bus stop that takes you to all th eother Chamonix ski areas, the bus is free with the lift pass.

    How to get there
    The njearest airport is Geneva, just 1 hour's drive away by motorway, Chamonix is around 1 hours drive from Calais about 900km. A car is useful in Chamonix but not essential as the bus system is very good.

    Distances
    If you are planning some trips out, Annecy is well worth a visit 50 minutes by car away, or a trip through to the Aoste valley in Italy just 30 minutes through the Mont Blanc tunnel. Or into Switzerland, just 30 minutes away.

    "Great "

    Great apt as really close to main lift up to the slopes (essential when you are carrying equipment). The apt is well equipped for cooking in and had plenty of space for all to chill post ski. Alastair was most helpful with getting us on the slopes fast - dropping us to get the equipment; organising ski passes and ski school for the kids - all of which meant we got on with the holiday part fast and hassle free. The apartment is a short walk to main street for restaurants, supermarket and bakery for crossaints in the morning! Only an hour from airport to slopes great for family with kids or anyone wanting more skiing time less commute time. And that why we hope to be back in 2015...

    Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children and romantic getaway
