A private cobbled drive leads to Casa do Margem, which is set in beautifully tended gardens, with an abundance of lawns, mature trees and palm trees providing many shaded areas for relaxing. The heated swimming pool is complimented with a children's pool. Situated on the outskirts of the market town of Loule, it benefits from country and distant ocean views. This villa is very popular with families with young children. It is comfortably furnished and is laid out on 2 floors. The ground floor consists of an open plan living and dining area with a separate cosy seating area around the log fire. The living area leads onto the outside terraces and pool area via sliding doors. A brightly decorated kitchen is linked to the outdoor wooden deck dining area and the rear of the property.

The kitchen was improved and upgraded recently to include, gas hob and electric oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave. Several worktops and cupboards.

Lounge dining room with separate seating area around log burner. Also doubles as TV area. Ceiling fan and heating. Cosy and comfortable.

All towels and linen are included. This also includes pool towels. There is a 3 day a week maid service and towels and linen are changed twice a week. The gardener comes in twice a week and the pool man once a week.
Everything is cleaned on changeover.

The villa is suitable for wheelchair access to the ground floor. The child's pool is also accessible to those with mobility problems.
The villa has beautifully tended gardens, with some very mature trees and shrubs. It is not overlooked by any other property. The pool area is extensive and includes 8 loungers, 4 sun shades, table and chairs and the barbecue. The main pool is 8.9 x 4.4m and the child's pool is 2.5m round.
There is a pool side shower which has hot and cold water. There is also a table tennis table.
Important notes on accommodation
There is electric radiator heating to each room, in addition all the bedrooms have air-conditioning, which also heat as well. The villa is very suitable for children and a stair gate can be fitted. There is an extra fridge freezer outside the kitchen and a washing line. The decking area outside the kitchen is a beautiful spot to have breakfast in the morning sun. Dogs are accepted provided they are well behaved and fully house trained. An extra deposit is payable for pets. A food welcome pack is available at extra cost. Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. Pool heating is £19 per day. Air-conditioning is £14 per day. Cot hire is £35 per week. Extra persons over the standard 8 is £60 per person per week.
Changeover day is usually a Thursday, but Saturdays may be considered for late bookings,other days will be considered in the quieter months. Arrival time 2pm, departure time 10am.
A 20% deposit is payable on booking, with the balance due 6 weeks before departure. The deposit and balance are non-refundable in the event of cancellation. Payment can be made by cheque, bank transfer or credit/debit card. A £400 security deposit is payable. Plus an extra £200 if taking pets. Refundable when you leave. Single gender bookings are considered on an individual basis, subject to references, age of the group and purpose of the holiday. An extra deposit may be also be payable.

The nearest beaches are about 15 minutes drive away where there is plenty of parking and beach side restaurants. Most beaches include watersports and other outdoor activities.
There are golf courses at Quinta do logo and Val do Lobo about 15 minutes drive away.
How to get there
The nearest airport is Faro about 10 minutes drive away. A taxi service is available if required. The marina at Vilamoura is about 15 minutes drive away.
The nearest village is a 5 minute walk away. The nearest town (Loule) is about 5 minutes by car. Vilamoura Marina is about 15 minutes drive away and offers many boat trips, restaurants, shops and other activities.
The nearest local shop is 300 to 400 yards away. The nearest restaurant/bar is 100 yards away, the next nearest restaurant is about 500 yards away. The nearest supermarket is about 1 mile. The nearest bank is 1 mile away in Loule. Loule has extensive shops, a market, chemists and many restaurants.

About the Owner
My wife and I live in North Essex with several animals, including horses, chickens, cats and dogs. We live in the countryside in the most beautiful part of Essex.
We have three children aged from 21 to 25. We own a small business based in Essex. We work long hours, seven days a week. We bought our house in 2010, we particularly wanted an isolated house in a National Park, but not too far from the sea and the main towns. Our house is perfect for our needs and we can get virtually anywhere local within 10 to 15 minutes.

Why this location?
When we arrived at the villa for the first time we fell in love with it. The gardens were just fantastic, with a cosy little villa nestled in the middle. It's quiet and secluded, but not too far away to be remote.
