Leeside is a beautiful cottage nestled in a peaceful location but close to the centre of the wonderful village of Reeth in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Tucked away at the head of a private drive boasting far reaching views over Swaledale.The property has been recently decorated to a high standard and modern little extras added to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. Local walks are on offer straight from your front door accommodating all fitness levels from gentle strolls or routes for the more experienced walker.
Bedroom 1 with double wrought iron bed accompanied by pine bedside tables, dressing table, integral double wardrobe and extensive drawer storage.
Bedroom 2 is a bunk bedded room, ideal for children, and also provides a small wardrobe and draws.
The modern bathroom includes a washbasin, WC and bath with overhead electric shower.
The open plan fully equipped kitchen includes a full size electric hob and oven, fridge with small freezer compartment, microwave, kettle and toaster.
An automatic washing machine is located in the integral garage below, which also offers secure storage for bikes.
A comfortable open plan lounge and dining room provides an ideal place to relax after a long day exploring beautiful Swaledale. Sky(Freeview) LCD TV and DVD player with a selection of DVDs available.Open stone fireplace with (initial) logs provided.
Bedding, duvets and pillows are provided but we ask guests to bring their own towels. Tea towels provided.

Access to the cottage is via a number of external steps then the accommodation is arranged all on one level.
For those that enjoy relaxing outdoors there is a beautiful secluded south facing garden and even a balcony with far reaching views over the Dale. For those warmer days and evenings a portable charcoal barbecue and garden furniture, for dining and relaxing in the garden, are provided. Private off road parking.
Important notes on accommodation
The cottage provides background heating with night storage heaters the cost of which is included in the rental. An initial supply of logs provided for the open fire and additional electric halogen heating is also available. A high-chair is provided for our younger guests and a travel cot is available on request. There is very limited mobile phone coverage so a payphone is provided for guests use. Free wireless internet access is available (limited download) for our guests. Leeside Cottage is a no smoking property. Our guests are welcome to bring well behaved dogs by prior arrangement when they visit. We do ask however that guests do not allow the dogs onto the furniture, or leave them alone in the cottage.

Saturday. House to be vacated by 11am on departure and available from 3.30pm on arrival day.
A 25% deposit is required to secure a booking. The balance is to be paid no later than 8 weeks before the date of occupancy.
A £100 REFUNDABLE Damages Deposit will be taken to cover any major accidents or damage to the cottage and its contents.
Cancellation policy: 4-8 weeks 50% of rate refund.
2-4 weeks 25% of rate refund.
Less than 2 weeks no refund.
Bookings made within 8 weeks of occupancy are to be paid in full at the time of booking.

How to get there
Durham Tees Valley airport 25 miles.
Richmond 12 miles - an historic market town, with Norman castle, cobbled market place, monuments and abbeys, fast flowing river Swale, and breathtaking scenery.
Aysgarth Falls - 11 miles near the village of Aysgarth the River Ure tumbles over a series of broad limestone steps which are known as Aysgarth Falls.
The Forbidden Corner 'The Strangest Place in the World' - Middleham nr Leyburn 10 miles. Ideal for those with children or adults young or old.
Nearest supermarket is in Richmond 12 miles although Reeth offers a its own selection of local shops, garage/petrol station, hairdresser, bakery, museum, pubs and restaurants.

"Cosy cottage in Reeth"
We were not disapponted with Leeside Cottage in Reeth, it is comfortable, clean, nicely decorated nothing miss matched , with every thing we needed. We felt that the owners had thought of every thing, no dashing out for toilet rolls etc. The quiet location was great just a few minutes walk to Reeth village green. Reeth has every thing you need for a relaxing holiday, nice cafes, a couple of good shops for groceries, wonderful post office and other shops. Thank you owners and especially for the yummy muffins.
Recommended for: Age 55+ and romantic getaway
