Superbly located and maintained privately owned apartment, in Bellesreguard, literally the other side of the road from the famous Pine Walk and beach.
It boasts an expansive roof terrace with views of the mountains and sea that gets the sun from sunrise to sunset. The apartment is in a beautiful complex with landscaped gardens with lily ponds and a stunning 3 tiered swimming pool, perfect for children and length swimming.
The apartment has 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms and has a light and spacious living area with access to a balcony with dining furniture overlooking the gardens and pool. We have super fast fibre optic wifi and a brand new smart TV with Sky box.
The kitchen is extremely well equipped with separate utility area where we have the washing machine, another sink for hand washing and store the highchair, beach paraphernalia etc. A great place to store pushchairs, if needed. The roof terrace has another dining area. In fact, in all, there are 3 different places to eat, depending on the temperature and your mood! There is a new high tech air conditioning/heating system in all rooms.
We feel we have a fabulous roof garden that you would hope to find in the Mediterranean, complete with an olive and a lemon tree! We use it as a real living space - to cook, eat, drink, relax and read and sunbathe in complete privacy. It is 90 metres square - the same area as the apartment below!
We have tried to avoid going to Ikea in Palma for everything but to furnish it in an individual, happy sunshiny style and have chosen (or made) quirky pieces/art work such as Rob's own furniture; paintings; clock and sculptures. We have provided everything you need for young children -a highchair, travel cot and bedding, plastic bowls, plates and cutlery. We also have a range of games and children books as well as an extensive amount of DVDs and beach toys for you to use. We know how stressful it is to pack everything you need for young children into a tiny bag, fitting Ryanair's strict dimensions! We have been there!
Our apartment is in Belleresguard which is the most exclusive area of Puerto Pollensa and it really does feel exclusive! The whole complex is privately owned and is so safe and quiet. We have brand new access gates with security codes and at night it really is so quiet - no hotel or complex bars thumping away with music till the early hours. Bliss !
Puerto Pollensa is so easy with young children! We love the family atmosphere of the resort - no high rise hotels; no blasting night clubs ! But plenty of fun water sports for all ages on the main beach.
At the front of the complex, there is a fantastically well stocked cafe/supermarket, that does everything from children's meals to a full-on evening menu with authentic tapas and cocktails. Tony does a mean Stawberry Moquito!
And across the road is the famous Pine Walk and a 10 minute stroll into the town along the water's edge, passing many bars and restaurants. Or 5 minutes the other way to "Gin and Tonic Corner" at the Ila Dor hotel!.There is no need for a car if you wish to just enjoy the resort! However there is a large car park at the front and Tony hires cars from the café that are delivered and collected from the car park.
The apartment is perfect for couples (you can have your own bathroom!) or families of 5. We cater for all group sizes.
The area is very popular with bird watchers and cyclists out of the main season and we feel our apartment and Puerto Pollensa offer an all-year round destination. We have a great heating system in the all the rooms plus cosy blankets for chillier mornings. The hikes are so quiet making bird/wildlife watching so much more exciting. Plus the roads are clearer for cyclists. There are now more cheap flights available in the winter months when it is quieter and less expensive to rent. And yes we do have wifi!!!!
We use a professional English speaking management company with a 24 hour emergency contact number.
It is a no smoking apartment. No pets allowed. Only whole week bookings from Saturday to Saturday in the high season-End of June to end of August.
Important legal advice and disclaimer: Any rental period is only a seasonal lease agreement between two parties; the owner and the tenant. The rental does NOT include the following services: housekeeping, catering or cooking, babysitting, passenger transport although we can offer advice and contacts on these things.
This is a gated residential community. It does not have the facilities of an ‘aparthotel', such as reception desk, lifeguards, pool fencing, poolside toilet; security guard. Renters must read and comply with the Community Rules, so as to cause no disturbance to other residents.
NB - Rates are subject to change until the reservation is confirmed.
All legal rentals in Mallorca must collect a "Tourist tax" of €2 per person per night, aged 16 and over (2019) and you will be invoiced for this once your booking is accepted. It is to be paid when the final payment is due 10 weeks before your holiday commences.
Also legally required is a scan of the passport or other travel document of every traveller. These must be emailed to us in advance so that we can send them on to the Guardia Civil.
We are very sorry to have to impose this cost and bureaucracy, but we have no choice. Hotels and hostels have the same procedures too.
Any rental of 30 days or more will constitute a Seasonal residential Lease, as foreseen in article 3.2 of Act 29/1994 on Spanish Urban Tenancy of a house (in Spanish 'Ley de Arrendamientos Urbanos'). No tourist tax is chargeable for 30 days and more.
