The cottage is in a beautiful setting, which we did not see until the morning after our arrival. This was due to a rally going on around the area. The road to the property was blocked until after 9:30pm. This meant we couldn't check in until after 10pm. Thankfully, John and Dianne met us at the top of the "white road ". The cottage is exactly as described, quaint, romantic and contains all you need for a great stay. If there is anything else you need, John and Di will do their best to provide it (including a secure fenced area for our dogs!). We saw so much wildlife, wild boars, owls, fox, eagles, sheep and an amazing numbers of butterflies, iridescent flying beetles, fire flies, scorpions (small and not deadly), evidence of porcupines and heard the farmers dogs at night! Be aware the cottage is a good 20 mins drive to the village, which is small, with a couple of eateries only. However, out and about, there are many beautiful villages and towns to visit, forest walks, rivers and lakes worth a look. Due to the mountainous area and remoteness of the cottage, WiFi, and phone connections are unpredicticable, but this just adds to the peacefulness and serenity of the location. Thank you John and Di!
