The property is an upper floor 1 bedroom apartment that can sleep up to 4 people.the lounge has a sofa bed, with a small kitchen off to the rear, with hob and oven. The pool is communal,as this is a residential area it is only 3 /4 mins walk away. All the local amenities are within walking distance - they include a fabulous Chinese, shops, supermarket, bars that provides free entertainment most nights,plus zenia boulevard shopping centre is just 10 minutes drive away from the apartment. Please do not book the apartment for friends without them seeing the apartment details. Please note that there are no apartments above this accommodation.

The lounge has a double sofa bed. There is a TV and a CD player. Books games and info on things to see and do.
There is a conservatory type room as you enter the property (the conservatory can not be opened to sun bath) which is ideal for early morning reading and a night time drink.please note there is no access to the roof.
The property is complete with a caretaker who will show you around on arrival and leaves fresh bedding and towels ready for you - they will then come in when you leave and do the same for the next arrival. 1 off payment of 45 euros payable to caretaker.

Important notes on accommodation
The apartment has air-conditioning within the lounge and a large ceiling fan in the bedroom. It is suitable for children, however there are several steps up to the apartment so would be harder for disabled people to access. We have a travel cot if necessary and an ironing board and iron.the apartment is ideal as base for lazy poo/beach side holiday,with fantastic all round entertainment in many local bars.please don't book for friends without them seeing this advert.

About the area
The beaches are all within driving distance,(approx 20 minutes ) however there is a bus stop opposite the apartment that takes you right to the beach every 30-60 mins - it takes 5 minutes. There are sandy beaches in Playa Flamenca and then there are stone beaches nearer Torrevieja. If you don't like sand there are a few bar/pool side restaurants near by. If you are interested in scuba diving contact owner for details. The beaches have bars, pools, toilets, games, chairs, sometimes live bands.
There are several golf courses nearby such as Villa Martin, Las Rambles Campamor. The golf courses are within 15,25,30,45 minutes drive. There are many different courses to choose from.
Special Interest Holidays
There are several attractions available such as bird watching in the hides,walking in the natural parks the local beaches have boat,chair,sunbed hire along with ballgames,childrens play frame, bar/toilet facilities, shopping in the large shopping mall including C&A H&M Zara etc.there are free coach trips leaving from a near by stop (20 mins walk) so you can see the best of this fabulous area. Horse riding and diving are also near by.a new sports center just 3 mins from apartment and a new shopping center is now open until 12am during the summer season and only a 10 minutes drive away.
How to get there
The nearest airports are Murcia and Alicante - You can hire cars here. Murcia is about 30 mins drive from the apartment. Alicante is about 50 mins drive.there are a lot of free trips to go on and most are well worth a go you get to see things you might miss!
Torrevieja is 10 mins drive this is the nearest local town. Alicante is about 50 mins drive. Benadorime is aprox. 2 hours away 15 euros for the day by coach. Villa martin is approximately 15 minutes drive from the apartment.
Torrevieja has all the amenities a town should have the restaurants are by the beach - Playa Flamenca has cash machines, supermarkets, pubs with bands, games and good food.the apartment location is on the bus route to the local beaches,which are approximately 30 minutes walk. There are also buses going to Torrevieja and Benidorm for day excursions.Check out zenia boulevard shopping centre it's less than 10 minutes drive away,it is within walking distance but the heat may make the walk feel longer .If you like walking then the nature reserves are about 15 minutes drive away,the walks lead to lakes and are not far from the pink salt marshes, ideal for birdwatching,the flamingos nest and feed in this area a worthwhile sight.

my self and my boyfriend came to this apartment for a 2 week holiday in august and was out raged with the experience we had. when we arrived in spain we phoned up the house keeper to arrange a key pick up but was told we would have to wait 2 hours as she was not near by because we was not booked in even thou we booked in through this website. when she arrived she was very nice and apologetic. we only found out later that the conditioning unit was not working and the hot water was not working we phoned the housekeeper at one point and the housekeepers husband informed me that he knew about the air con and that the hot water issue was a fault with the bollier we was never told this before we booked this apartment this is an outrage it is not nice to have cold showers for 2 weeks. and the heat of the apartment was unlivable we had to go out and spend 100 euros on fans which we gave to family when we departed. also the electric kept tripping when we was using more than 3 electric outputs e.g. we could not use the oven and the radio at the same time. although the advertisement says there is a sofa bed i would not recommend that more than 2 people stay in this apartment as it is tiny and to get to the bathroom you had to go through the bedroom to get to it. if the apartment undertook minor renovation it could be lovely but all the key factor as missing at e.g. the air con. i understand that the apartment is cheap but it should not be cheap about appliances are not working

Apartment bigger than we expected, had all we needed, will book again, loved coach trips you told us about. Mrs. brown had a lovely stay and cant believe you only charge £120 for a week found some really good places to eat, drink and visit. Mrs.J Ross. Hi, Nigel and myself, Deborah, live and work in Bangor, North Wales. We have been going on holiday to Playa Flamenca for the last seven or so years as my mum and dad lived there. When the apartment above them came up for sale we said yes before even looking inside! We have found a second home and always see and find new things each time we go. It's an area overlooked by many.

Why this location?
The apartment came up for sale and as it is above mum and dad's plus we had been on holiday in the area before we knew it was for us. Murcia airport is only half an hour away,Torrevieja is only 15 mins away with its lovely shops,beach & port. Playa Flamenca,La Zina beaches are just 10 minutes drive,the beaches have little bars with good food,toilets and you can hire out sun beds,and some water sports facilities. The hotel has good facilities for beach goers to use.Back near the apartment you will find little pockets of bars and restaurants,all boasting good food, and some have fantastick live tribute bands, big TVs for the football mad,dont like the sand, some pools areby the bar!All this with in 5-15 mins walk, plus great golf course are easily accessible. Make use of the free coach trips
What are the unique benefits of the property?
We like the area because there are lots of things to do all the time, 10 pin bowling, karting, free trips to great places you might not bother seeing, fishing, horse riding, fantastic shops, golf, and the apartment is accessible to the main road, with out lots of traffic its easy to get about.If all you want to do is sit by the pool then its only 3 minutes walk, and if you want a quite drink and a good meal its all here, for the younger ones there are clubs staying open untill the early hours.
