A large 6 bedroom detached house set in 3 acres of grounds on the edge of a small market town. The north side of the garden (which abounds with numerous fruit trees including fig, cherry and peach) is bordered by the river Isle which offers the opportunity to fish in its well stocked waters. The living room opens through two sets of double doors onto a balcony which overlooks the river and is ideal for relaxing and sipping wine. The front of the house opens onto a large patio area. The grounds are accessed via double electric gates ensuring total privacy at all times. The house is a hundred metres from the edge of town where there is an Intermarche (now with a McDonalds), numerous shops and bistro. A further 10 minutes walk takes you to the centre of town boasting a number of popular restaurants and bars including the Michelin listed Auberge de l'eclade. In all, an excellent base for exploring the Dordogne.

Bedlinen and towels are changed once during a 2 week holiday. Should you wish to have the property cleaned during your stay, a private maid service can be arranged (subject to prior notice) for a supplement of 150 euros per clean.

During the holiday season the changeover day is Saturday. out of season the changeover day is flexible subject to availability.
Deposit of 25% of the total cost payable to secure your booking. Booking not confirmed until payment received. Balance including security deposit of £250 payable no later than 8 weeks before start date of holiday. The security-breakages deposit is refunded by bank transfer after the end of your holiday subject to no deductions for breakages/damage etc.

About the area
There are numerous Atlantic beaches close to Bordeaux about 1 hours drive away. There are two very popular swimming lakes with sandy beaches, cafes, playgrounds etc. Lac Gurson is a 10 minute drive away and additionally boasts a water slide, crazy golf, peaddalos and horse riding. Lac Jemaye is larger and about a 20 minute drive away.

Golf Public de Périgueux, Domaine de Saltgourde, 24430 Marsac sur L'Isle (25 minutes drive). There will be another one opening in a couple of months in Saint Aulaye which is only 20 minutes North of Montpon!

Dear Steve and Julie - We've had a wonderful holiday staying here at M'Bolo. The first week was extremely hot so the pool was great for cooling off. We've all enjoyed eating breakfast, lunch and dinner on the balcony watching out for red squirrels and rabbits in the garden. A superb base for a holiday! We've seen some beautiful little towns - Perigieux, Brantome, Bergerac and Bordeaux is not to be missed! The canoe trips are also excellent and each with their own lovely views of the rivers and chateaus. We all had a lovely holiday. Good luck in the future with holiday lets. Great time, loved it!
