    Traditional stone-built cottage in the heart of a thriving seaside town in one of the most beautiful and unspoilt areas of Scotland. Just five minutes' walk from the beach and golf course. Even closer to local restaurants and shops including grocery store, pharmacy, bank, post office. Gas central heating throughout with instant hot water. Electricity/gas included in the price. Bed linen supplied. Cot available on request. Pets welcome (small extra charge for cleaning).

    Bedroom 1 with king size double bed.
    Bedroom 2 with twin single beds.
    Double sofa bed in living room.
    (travel cot available)

    Family bathroom with separate shower unit.

    Kitchen with oven, grill, gas hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine.

    Living Rooms:
    Living Room with TV/DVD, CD/radio and double sofa bed.
    Cupboard with books and games.

    Dining Room with table and chairs, gas fire and garden view. Separate hanging/storage room.

    Cleaning/Towels/Linen/Maid service:
    All bed linen included.
    House cleaned and linen replaced on each changeover day (Saturday). We ask guests to bring their own towels.

    Dishwasher, Fridge, Hob/Stove, Iron, Microwave, Oven, Washing Machine.

    Central Heating, Cot, High Chair, TV.

    Staircase to bedrooms and bathroom - not suitable for disabled people.

    Fully enclosed south facing garden with furniture.

    Stunning mile-long beach just 5 minutes walk away.

    Cullen Links - designed by Old Tom Morris himself, and just 3 minutes drive from the cottage. Picturesque and unusual! Around a dozen other golf courses within half an hour, including championship courses at Banff and Lossiemouth.

    How to get there
    Inverness and Aberdeen airports just over an hour's drive away. Regular bus service to Elgin, Inverness and Aberdeen, but car recommended for exploring the coastal areas.

    Elgin (cathedral, distilleries) 22 miles. Portsoy (fishing village with 17th century harbour) 6 miles. Portknockie (fishing village with dramatic Bow Fiddle Rock natural geological site) 2 miles. Many other interesting places nearby.

    Cottage is just off the town square, and two minutes walk from shops, bank, pharmacy, hotel, etc.

    "Lawson's Retreat"

    We found the property spotless and very comfortable. Very well situated for local shop pubs and the beach. We would return age permitting.
