Family-Friendly, Waterfront Town House in the heart of Rodney Bay Village

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!! If you want spacious, high specification, secure accommodation in the heart of Rodney Bay then this might be what you need! No need for expensive hire cars - supermarkets, shops, cafes, bar, restaurants and beach are all within a few minutes walk from the house.

No17 The Harbour is a waterfront townhouse, in the heart of Rodney Bay Village, tastefully furnished to a high specification. It is one of 25 properties set in private, lush, tropical gardens behind secure electronic gates. We are fully COVID certificated by the St Lucian government.

The front of the house has open views across the Harbour and Marina, with private jetty/dock (great for boats or late night fishing) and a communal outdoor pool. The rear of the property leads through gardens and the secure car park to the village and beach. Our housekeeper and concierge will be on hand to make sure your stay goes smoothly.

Ground Floor: The spacious open-plan ground floor is air conditioned and comprises covered open air patio, living room (TV/DVD/WiFi), dining room, cloakroom plus a well equipped kitchen & laundry room. French doors lead from the lounge to the waterfront patio.

First Floor: Two Air Conditioned En-Suite Bedrooms - one with King-size bed, TV/DVD, Bluetooth Speaker, Hairdryer, Walk-In Wardrobe, Balcony and Bathroom with twin basins/bath/shower/toilet; and one with twin beds (can be joined to make King size), TV, Bluetooth Speaker, Hairdryer, Wardrobe, Juliet Balcony and Shower Room with shower cubicle/single basin/toilet.

Second Floor: Master Suite - Air-conditioned with King-size bed, TV/DVD/WiFi, Bluetooth Speaker, Dressing Area, Hairdryer & Straighteners, Balcony and En-Suite Bathroom with shower cubicle/bath/twin basins/toilet.

Mezzanine Floor: Air-conditioned with Double Sofa Bed (suitable for one adult or two children) & desk. This is the only house on the complex with an additional mezzanine floor.

Housekeeper Service: Monday - Friday 9am - 1pm. Our housekeeper is happy to offer occasional cooking and personal laundry service for an additional charge - this can be arranged with her locally.

All the activities in Rodney Bay Village and the beautiful Reduit Beach are an easy walk away; whilst the National Trust Property - Pigeon Island and the IGY Marina are a mere 10 min land or water taxi ride away. Unless you want to explore the island (and there is lots to see and do) there is no need for a hire car. Excursions to all the key sites are widely available as are local taxis. Our concierge will be on hand to help and advise you.

Location, location, location. Be aware that many villas on St Lucia are very isolated with nothing within walking distance and a hire car will cost you around US$100 per day. No17 the Harbour will give you luxury, privacy and security whilst being a very short walk from everything you will need. Rodney Bay has numerous shops, supermarkets, bar, cafes and restaurants with the beach an easy 15 minute walk away.

Please note that the vivacious atmosphere of the neighborhood means there might be occasional music from the neighboring restaurants and bars. This is a testament to the condo's central location and the lively ambiance that makes Rodney Bay a sought-after destination. Home from Home in the Caribbean
So good we booked to return. The location was ideal for us, we loved to walk to the beach or the marina or just sit at the accomodation. The house had everything in it that you would need. Ester, the housekeeper looked after us very well. Great choice of restaurants nearby with Thursday night Fish and Chips a must at the house a few doors away. We have already booked to return.

Awesome! Great villa in great location
The villa is stunning and all our expectations were exceeded, it was home form home - luxurious. We had a fantastic time, some days we were out around the island others we were either on the beech or by the pool. Want to return soon.

Perfect house in best location
Had a wonderful stay at 17 The Harbour.The property is in excellent order throughout; very nicely decorated and furnished and very well equipped.The location is ideal as you can walk to shops/supermarkets, bars, restaurants and the beach. The house overlooks the water and is quiet, scenic and relaxing as well as totally secure. The housekeeper is lovely and makes sure you have everything you need. Will definitely be back. 5* Property!!

Comfortable and spacious apartment
The overall stay in this apartment was very good. We have over the years have rented many villas and apartments, but I would have to rate this as one of the best, especially as it was a reasonable price and in a quite but central position. All rooms are large and comfortable, with a lovely view over the harbour. Esther the housekeeper was absolutely brilliant as stated in previous reviews and couldn’t do enough for you. On our arrival Esther had made some rum punch for us which was her own recipe, talk about drinkable, it was the best rum punch ever. When we did have a problem with one of the air cons on our first night, it was promptly fixed the following day. Our only downside was that a lot of the bars and eating places were closed especially along the road that runs alongside Reduit beach. Could have something to do with the hotels that are in that part of Rodney Bay not having many holiday makers so the trade is not there for the local bars. Having said that, all the bars and restaurants in the heart of Rodney Bay where the apartment is are open. This did not detract from our very relaxing holiday in a very good holiday home. ENJOY.

We are Peter & Yvonne from the UK. No 17 The Harbour is our 2nd home and we love both our house and the island of St Lucia. We have lovingly furnished and equipped our house to a high standard as we want it to feel like home from home for both ourselves and any guests. We have received some great comments from guests and have a number of returning guests. We have three grown up children and small grandchildren who also love the house & pool, and particularly like the fact that everything in Rodney Bay, including the Beach, is within easy walking distance and that there is a great selection of bars, shops, cafes and restaurants.

Why they chose this property

We have sailed in the Caribbean for many years and of all the islands decided that St Lucia was the most perfect. It is green, volcanic, stunning scenery, full of history and a great sailing destination. The people are also some of the most friendly we have come across in the Caribbean and the choice of restaurants and bars is brilliant.

We chose Rodney Bay as we wanted a property with a private dock for our boat and wanted to be within walking distance of the beach, shops, bars and restaurants. We also wanted to buy from a reputable builder. We have not been disappointed with either the house or the location - in fact every time we go we like it more!!

What makes this property unique

The house is set in an oasis behind secure electric gates. Beautiful tranquility overlooking the Harbour but still in the centre of the resort so great access to all amenities. The house is convenient for walking to the supermarket, shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, beach plus taxis are readily available if you want to explore further afield. Hire cars are also available close by but are generally unnecessary. Water Taxis will come to the dock in front of the house making transfer to the Marina, Pigeon Island, The Landings etc very easy. There are only 25 houses/apartments on the complex and often many are unoccupied so the pool and gardens are quiet. Our property is managed by Tropical Villas St Lucia and they ensure all our guests are well looked after.
