The apartment is situated in the desirable Playamar area of Torremolinos on the first line of the beach, with impressive views towards the seafront from an enclosed glazed terrace. The property is located in the most affluent hotel region of Torremolinos, on the third floor of a three storey complex, with a private swimming pool and beautiful well-kept gardens. Simply, cross the road and you are on the beach, surrounded by fabulous 'Chiringuitos' (bars), restaurants, shops, and supermarkets, which offer very good quality at reasonable prices. The apartment is equipped with ASDL Internet Connection and 22 English TV Channels.

There is satellite television providing 22 English channels including BBC, ITV, CBeebies & Channel 4. You can bring your own Sky card to access to the channels you watch at home. We have installed ASDL Internet Connection which is free of charge.
Linen and towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels. Electricity and water costs are included in the rental price for short-term holiday lettings.

Malaga airport is approximately 7 kilometres from the apartment taking the 'Carretera Nacional 340' towards torremolinos via the Playamar roundabout next to the 'centro de oportunidades de el corte ingles'. This will direct through the Avenida Benyamina towards the beach promenade.
As the apartment is situated on the third floor without elevator and therefore it may not be suitable for everyone.
The apartment is situated on the 'Paseo Maritimo' of Torremolinos (the promenade) which runs for approximately 7 kilometres encompassing the four beach zones of Los Alamos, Playamar, Bajondillo and La Carihuela connecting with the Puerto Marina of Benalmadena-Costa. Ideal for walkers, cyclists or roller skaters.
A few minutes walk from the apartment one will find a vibrant nightlife that includes trendy bars, pubs and restaurants serving delicious food in a fun/popular atmosphere.
The popular 'chringuitos' (beach bars/restaurants) have recently introduced balinese beds in addition to their sun beds which offer an exotic Caribbean style environment ideal for those looking to relax, unwind and enjoy. The 'Paseo Maritimo' has numerous food establishments including Chiringuitos, cafes and restaurants offering international cuisine serving both seafood, meat and vegetarian options. There are also a variety of shops, supermarkets, & other activities to have an enjoyable holiday.
Important notes on accommodation
The apartment is very spacious, measuring 45m2 and benefits from plenty of light. It comprises a large lounge-dining area with american style kitchen. The lounge area includes a sofa-bed for one adult, a large bedroom with two single beds and fitted wardrobe. The bathroom is nicely equipped with shower, basin and toilet. There is a glazed terrace with views towards the sea and gardens and an air-conditioning system which functions with both hot and cold air.
The apartment complex is securely gated and benefits from a beautiful garden and large and well tended swimming pool ideal for couples, both with or without children. The swimming pool is open all year round.
It is located in the Bajondillo-Playamar area, positioned in front of the famous 'Playa Poseidon' between hotels Isabel and Los Jazmines.
The bus stop/tourist office are in front of the main entrance (beach side) and the supermarket “Mercadona“ is situated at the rear entrance.

We ask for 25% of the rental price by way of deposit, followed by the balance 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday. We also ask for a £100 'security deposit', which is refundable just after the end of your stay, subject to our terms/conditions, which we will send to you with our 'booking form'.

About the area
'La Carihuela', 'Bajondillo', 'Playamar' and 'Los Alamos' make up the four beach zones of the sea front promenade of Torremolinos. Each beach zone, is famous for its different specialities. The apartment is located in Playamar which is renowned for its sporting and entertainment activities including volleyball and football tournaments and an open air cinema in the summer. There are numerous restaurants, which provide live music as well as delicious food for both vegetarians and non vegetarians
'El Campo de Golf de Guadalmar' is situated 4kms from the apartment (direction Malaga). Also, for those who are not so serious about golf, there is a mini-golf 2 minutes away from the apartment.
How to get there
There are flights to Malaga from most main UK airports. The airport is located west of the city of Malaga, approx 5km (about 12 minutes drive) to the apartment. Car hire is not essential, as all amenities are close by and buses/taxis are readily available. The railway station in Torremolinos town centre serves Malaga to the east and Benalmadena, Arroyo de la Miel, Fuengirola to the west. The train has a specific stop at the airport.
Torremolinos town centre 10mins walk or a short bus ride and Malaga 12kms for that big shopping trip! The Costa Del Sol offers much to see and do, from water-parks including Aquapark in Torremolinos bowling and Tivoli World Theme Park to local 'fiestas' and places of historical interest such as Granada 130km and Sevilla 220km. There are many other local resorts such as Benalmadena 4km, Fuengirola 18km, Mijas 24km, Marbella 50km, Puerto Banus 52km, Estepona 80km and Tarifa 120km.
Torremolinos is a very friendly town which likes to take care of its tourism as this is the main source of its economy. On the first Thursday of June, they celebrate 'Dia del Pescaito' where everyone can enjoy in food and drink, free of charge. On 16th of July, 'Virgen del Carmen', is celebrated which is a week full of parties on 'La Carihuela' Beach.
The first Thursday of September sees, 'Dia del Turista' which is celebrated to give thanks to the tourists who have visited the town of Torremolinos. Once again food and drink is free.
On the 29th of September, 'Fiesta de San Miguel' is celebrated in the centre of Torremolinos. 'La Romeria de San Miguel' is a unique and typical party in the countryside surrounded by Pine Trees.

We have stayed at this apartment on numerous occasions now, which speaks volumes in itself - and we have booked again for 2015! The apartment is small, but accommodates my two teenage daughters and I perfectly. We love it! The apartment has everything we need including wifi, which is an added bonus. It is very conveniently located right opposite the beach and an abundance of chringuitos - beachside restaurants. We know Torremolinos/Playamar really well, but for first time visitors, the location of the apartment is perfect. Everything is in walking distance - beach, shops, bars and restaurant. No need to hire a car, as the bus and train service is great - there is even a taxi rank close by. The beautiful city of Malaga is only a short distance away by bus or train - and well worth a visit. If you are looking for a fun and relaxing holiday in the sun, I would definitely recommend this Playamar apartment.

On arrival we found the apartment spotlessly clean, tidy, well equipped and well furnished. The beds were very comfortable.
