About this property

The Guest House is in the grounds of our Villa with secluded private pool.


The 2 bed flat which is the one for rental has patio doors leading onto a private, gated and secluded patio, which has sun loungers, mats and table and chairs. There are also tables/chairs and loungers on the side and front patios of the flat and in various other locations round the gardens. The pool is completely private and is used by our guests and us solely, although we rarely use it when guests are here. We are pet friendly and have family friendly dogs of our own.
The secluded garden with several palm trees, and olive trees is very private, ideal for sunbathing in complete privacy. There are lawned areas ideal for boules, volleyball etc, and there is a wooden games box, full of garden games. We have a gas barbecue situated on the front terrace of the guest house. The pool which is 8 x 4m is to the front of the main villa.
Outside the main villa where we live, on the side is a lovely seating area, to relax or eat meals cooked on the charcoal bbq.
The Caseta sleeps 5, 2 adults and up to 3 children, close to all tourist attractions, but in a quiet location.
In July and August we only accept bookings for 7 days or more.

El jardín aislado con varias palmeras, y olivos es muy privado, ideal para tomar el sol en completa privacidad. Hay áreas con césped ideal para petanca, voleibol, etc. y hay una caja de juegos de madera, llena de juegos de jardín.

La piscina que es de 8 x 4 m está en la parte delantera de la villa principal.
Fuera de la villa principal donde vivimos, en el lado hay una hermosa zona de estar, para relajarse o comer comidas cocinadas en la barbacoa.
La terraza principal en la parte delantera de nuestra villa, con vistas a la piscina, hay zonas para comer y relajarse, con música cuando estamos en casa.
El apartamento de 2 camas que es el de alquiler tiene puertas de patio que conducen a un patio privado, cerrado y aislado, que tiene tumbonas, esteras y mesa y sillas. También hay mesas / sillas y tumbonas en los patios laterales y delanteros del piso y en varios otros lugares alrededor de los jardines. La piscina es completamente privada y es utilizada por nuestros huéspedes y nosotros únicamente, aunque rara vez usamos cuando los huéspedes están aquí. Somos amables para mascotas y tenemos perros amistosos para la familia aqui.
El piso tiene capacidad para 5, 2 adultos y hasta 3 niños, cerca de todas las atracciones turísticas, pero en una ubicación tranquila.
En julio y agosto solo aceptamos reservas de 7 días o más.

Le jardin isolé avec plusieurs palmiers, et les oliviers est très privé, idéal pour bronzer en toute intimité. Il ya des zones avec pelouse idéale pour la pétanque, volley-ball, etc et il ya une boîte de jeu en bois.
La piscine qui est de 8 x 4m est à l’avant de la villa principale.
En dehors de la villa principale où nous vivons, sur le côté se trouve un joli coin salon, pour se détendre ou manger des repas cuisinés sur le barbecue.
La terrasse principale à l’avant de notre villa, donnant sur la piscine, il y a des espaces de restauration et de détente, avec de la musique quand nous sommes à la maison.
L’appartement de 2 lits qui est l’appartement de location a des portes patio qui mènent à un patio privé, fermé et isolé, qui dispose de chaises longues, nattes et table et chaises. Il ya aussi des tables / chaises et chaises longues dans le côté et les patios avant de l’appartement et dans divers autres endroits autour des jardins. La piscine est entièrement privée et est utilisé par nos clients et nous seulement, même si nous les utilisons rarement lorsque les clients sont ici. Nous sommes des animaux de compagnie et avons des chiens amicaux de la famille ici.
L’appartement peut être dort 5, 2 adultes et jusqu’à 3 enfants, à proximité de toutes les attractions touristiques, mais dans un endroit calme.
En juillet et août, nous n’acceptons que les réservations de 7 jours ou plus.

We hebben onze prijzen voor heel 2022 met 10% verlaagd. We weten dat vorig jaar en dit jaar is moeilijk voor iedereen.
De afgelegen tuin met verschillende palmbomen, en olijfbomen is zeer privé, ideaal om te zonnebaden in volledige privacy. Er zijn gazon gebieden ideaal voor jeu de boules, volleybal etc, en er is een houten spelletjesdoos, vol tuin spelletjes. We zijin huisdiervriendelijke honden hier.
Het zwembad van 8 x 4m ligt aan de voorzijde van de hoofdvilla.
Buiten de hoofdvilla waar we wonen, aan de zijkant is een mooie zithoek, om te ontspannen of maaltijden te eten die op de bbq zijn gekookt.
Het grote terras aan de voorzijde van onze villa, met uitzicht op het zwembad, zijn er eet- en ontspanningsruimtes, met muziek als we thuis zijn
De 2 bed flat die de ene voor verhuur is heeft patio deuren die leiden naar een eigen, omheind en afgelegen patio, die ligstoelen, matten en tafel en stoelen heeft. Er zijn ook tafels/stoelen en ligstoelen aan de zijkant en voorzijde patio's van de flat en in diverse andere locaties rond de tuinen. Het zwembad is volledig privé en wordt gebruikt door onze gasten en ons alleen, hoewel we zelden gebruiken wanneer gasten hier zijn.
Buiten de belangrijkste villa waar we wonen, aan de zijkant is een mooie zithoek, om te ontspannen of eten maaltijden gekookt op een van de bbq's.
Het belangrijkste terras aan de voorzijde van onze villa, met uitzicht op het zwembad, zijn er eten en ontspannen gebieden, met muziek en games.
De flat is geschikt voor 5, 2 volwassenen en maximaal 3 kinderen, dicht bij alle toeristische attracties, maar op een rustige locatie.
In juli en augustus accepteren wij alleen boekingen van 7 dagen of meer.
Roken is niet toegestaan in het pension.

Lovely 10 days near Málaga
Spent a lovely 10 days just outside Málaga at Carol and Richard's place. Great hosts, very knowledgeable and can't do enough to help you. We arrived very late due to a delayed flight and Carol and Richard were both there to greet us after midnight. The lodgings are compact and spotless. Loads of games for the kids and information about the local area. The pool really helped during the August heatwave, as did the tv and the comfy beds during our siestas. Really handy location, Cartama is small but a typically Spanish town but if you fancy more touristy places, then Torremolinos and Benalmádena are close by...all worth exploring...we hired a car to try and see as much as we could! Would stay again 👍 Muchas gracias Carol, Richard y los perritos ❤️

Brilliant Holiday
Had a great week in the flat and Carol and Richard were very helpful. Flat had everything we needed - forgot there were two bedrooms so we had a wardrobe each which was useful. Wi-Fi was very hit and miss but managed to get it in front of Carol and Richard's house. We enjoy walking into town for evening meals which in this case was not possible as it would have been a thirty minute walk (the first part was an unlit lane with dogs at most properties) although Carol and Richard do offer a taxi service. Carol and Richard's three little dogs and two cats are brilliant. Just a warning weather wise - we had a lot of rain the night before we left which resulted in road closures and what should have been a half hour journey to the airport taking an hour and a half. Great week and would go again. Thanks Carol and Richard. Barbara and Derrick - Nottingham

Beautiful area and fab hosts!
I stayed for a week in Sept, my first holiday alone with my two children 3.5 and nearly 2.. I got car hire which is a must. Carol and Richard met me at a bar in the town, where they bought us drinks and chatted for a while before showing me the way to the villa. It's setting is beautiful. The accommodation is small but adequate and has plenty of out door space.. When your on holiday you don't spend much time inside so this didn't phase me. The pool area is lovely and you are free to use this whenever, we had it too ourselves morning or afternoon when we weren't at the beach.. It was clean but yes their are flies wasps overnight so there is a net to use, which again you expect.. I also had ants in there the first night but was given a spray to use and a vacumn. As long as you clean up after Making food or eating there was no issue for the rest of our stay. Carol and Richard are amazing hosts and nothing was too much for them, they did us a bbq, watched my two little ones from time to time, gave advise on where to go, we're very sociable in the evenings, and lent me mozi treatment, and even socks. They really couldn't have done more. My children loved the 3 gorgeous dogs and still ask after them (Toby is their fav) and still talk of Carol and Richard too bless.. Thank you x

Value for money!
Spent 8 nights and had a wonderful time, Richard and Carol were very friendly and helpful, really good for recommendations on what to do. Have to say that their 3 dogs were one of the highlights, friendly laid back and extremely sweet, living their best lives! Thank you very much to you both, especially Richard who got up at the crack of dawn to drive us back to the airport, wish you both all the best, Kate, Gary & Linda x

One night was more than enough!!!!!
On arrival at the property we found the property owners to be very hospitable. First impressions were how very small the property was extremely cramped for the 5 people it slept, the details on this website are misleading to say the least. The Property needed a good clean surfaces and floors were sticky, tiles broken, generally grubby. Ants in the kitchen probably not helped by leftover food in cupboards from previously guests, and ants in in the bathroom. Bathroom was horrendous a bi-fold door leading directly into the kitchen that wouldn’t close. Following 3 of us having showers, water took a long time to drain leaving a raw sewage smell behind, only worsening as the evening progressed. I could go on and on listing the issues, but feel that having to fork out for alternative accommodation says it all. We had booked the apartment for a week but after spending one night, in the heat, air conditioning was inadequate and only in living room. With a combination of heat and raw sewage making sleep near impossible my husband ending up sleeping in the hire car. After our first night we left the apartment early the following morning and decided we couldn’t stay another day in those conditions and made the decision to find alternative accommodation, which we did and returned later that day to collect our belongings and advise the owners of our reason for leaving. After we left we contacted the owners via email asked for reimbursement in view of the fact we had only stayed one night - they dismissed our complaints. We contacted them again asking for compensation they refused simply pointing us to their terms and conditions something which was never offered or received. An official complaint was lodged with HomeAway but at the time of writing no response has been received. When looking for holiday properties we always read reviews, it’s great to hear what other guests have to say about a property and helps when trying to decide where to stay. Normally we don’t leave reviews but feel that for this particular property it is important that future guests are aware of what they are getting, we can’t understand why the previous reviews are so good, it truly doesn’t deserve it.

Why they chose this property

We chose this property in 2000, because of its ideal location for everything. It is within 25 mins walking distance from the village, where you have access to good train and bus services, should you prefer not to drive. The village has all the necessary facilities of banks restaurants and shops and a lively Sunday market. For people who have not visited inland villages, you will find drinking and eating out is very cheap. Menu del dia, a 3 course lunch is approx 7e in most places and the village Chinese does a 3 course meal, Tuesday to Friday including a drink, currently at a price of 6.95 e. Of course most bars are famous for their selection of tapas and fish.
Taxis to and from the village, should you choose not to drive are approx 8e.
