A beautifully furnished luxury detached 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa with private pool and gardens. The villa is situated in a superbly landscaped development at Gumusluk on the western tip of the Bodrum Peninsula. The villa commands fantastic sea views from both the balcony and terrace and the sunsets are spectacular. The villa has a spacious living area with sliding patio doors leading onto a large terrace which overlooks the pool. Upstairs there is a double master bedroom with furnished balcony, a further double bedroom and family bathroom with bath and shower. Downstairs there is a twin bedroom, a further bathroom, a fully fitted kitchen and laundry room. There is air-conditioning throughout and heating to keep you warm in the cooler months. Outside there is ample space for relaxing, either on the terrace by the pool or within the landscaped gardens. The villa is perfectly situated, within easy walking distance of the beach and renowned seafood restaurants of Gumusluk Bay.

This villa is one of the best we have stayed in - great accomodation, location and the pool was so good my daughters never bothered with the two larger communal pools on site (even thought they are great too).

Opus Village is in a nice location with great views, and we visited nearby Yalikavak, Gumusluk & Golturkbuku, all with great places to eat & beaches. Opus Village itself is of a very high quality, with very helpful staff on hand (we only needed them to change the water in the cooler, but theres always someone around if you did need something else)

All in all a fanstatic holiday and we will be looking to book again if we can!

My husband at I stayed at this villa for 12 nights in June. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The villa itself is well equipped, was immaculately clean and the pool was a good size for swimming. There are infact 2 communal pools on the complex also if you want a larger pool to swim in. We however found the villa pool more than adequate.

Just as lovely third time round!!

We were back at the Blue Villa in Gumusluk for the third time. Again as last year for three weeks in June. As always the villa was immaculate and extremely well equipped, plus a very prettily presented welcome basket. Very nice! Gumusluk didn't disappoint and we were made very welcome at our favourite restaurants. The on-site staff(new) were very good and very patient with us when we couldn't work the TV at least 3 times- my husband and I are not very good with the technical stuff! We would definitely recommend this villa to families or couples- there is plenty to do and see in the area to suit all ages. The owners are very friendly and are full of useful advice-you only have to ask!

The perfect place to relax and unwind

We have recently returned from a 7 night stay at this villa, it was perfect for us, far enough away from everything to have peace and quiet with stunning views, yet easy enough to get around without a car. Places to eat were within 10 mins walk with more within 20 mins. Local buses are cheap and easy to get to further areas and run regularly. The villa itself had everything you need and gets then sun till late especially on the upper terrace which we enjoyed sitting out on watching the sun set or relaxing before going out for dinner. We would definitely return to this villa in the future and recommend for couples and families.

Blissful yet again!

My husband & I stayed at this lovely peaceful villa for the second time -first time in 2012-both visits for 3 weeks. The villa is very well equipped and extremely comfortable. The glorious view from the villa and the lovely private pool are wonderful. The beautiful sunsets over the sea are fantastic and very romantic! The staff on site are very friendly and are always on hand if you need them. Gumusluk is a delight with pretty seaside restaurants run by friendly locals. The surrounding area is waiting to be explored and can be easily accessed by local dolmus. We have spent 2 wonderful holidays in this villa and we recommend it highly.

We decided to buy a house in Turkey three years ago after visiting many times over a number of years. We love Turkey and the people are so welcoming. We visited Gumusluk and Opus Village on a house hunting trip and fell in love with the area straight away. The views, the setting and beautiful gardens had us hooked and the harbour and picturesque bay of Gumusluk were also easily accessible.

Activity and Interests

Car: recommended


The villa is perfectly situated in a beautiful area close to the pretty fishing village of Gumusluk. The village, with its beach and renowned seafood restaurants is easily accessible, within 20 minutes walking distance or 2 minutes by car. Gumusluk is a protected area, being built on the ancient city of Myndos. The ruins and mosaics are still visible in the shallow waters around Rabbit Island. The bay is ideal for snorkeling and there are other watersports facilities available from the beach.


There are flights to Bodrum Milas airport from most UK airports. The flight time to Bodrum is approximately 4 hours. Easyjet and Pegasus offer scheduled flights direct to Bodrum all year round from Gatwick, Birmingham or Manchester. Charter airlines fly to Bodrum from most UK airports during the summer months (from May to October inclusive). The property is a 60 minute drive from the airport. Car hire is available at the airport, although not essential. Transfers can be arranged if required.


The villa is 1km from the beach and beach club at Koyunbaba Bay, 1.5 km from the village of Gumusluk along tarmacadam roads (it is shorter on foot!). Bodrum is 18 km away and the airport is 53 km away.

Further Details:

Whilst offering the opportunity for a quiet relaxing holiday, the villa also gives easy access to the sights and attractions of the Bodrum Peninsula. Other villages on the Peninsula such as Turgutreis and Yalikavak, with their weekly markets, are easily accessible via Dolmus or car. Bodrum, with its imposing castle and harbour, is a 20 minute drive away and has all the facilities of a larger holiday resort. Further afield, the ancient ruins of Ephesus are well worth a visit. Branches of the main Turkish banks can be found alongside the main road into Bodrum. ATM's can be found outside the banks, in Bodrum itself and in Turgutreis. Branches of the larger supermarket chains, such as Migros and Kipa can be found on the road into Bodrum and in Turgutreis which is a 15 minute drive away. The local mini-markets are very good, selling basics and plentiful fresh locally produced fruit and vegetables. For eating out there is no need to travel further than the village of Gumusluk. There are a number of excellent seafood restaurants alongside the harbour and beach.

    Payments can be made by cheque or bank transfer. A non-refundable deposit of £150 will secure a booking, with the balance being due 8 weeks before departure.

    Changeover Day:
    Changeovers are flexible. The property is available from 16:00 on the day of arrival. The usual departure time is 10.00 am although we aim to be flexible wherever possible.

    Notes on prices:
    Prices are inclusive of utility bills, welcome pack, cleaning and linen changes.

    Prices are in UK pounds per week based on 4 people sharing. Additional guests are charges at £50 per person per week. Discounts on 3 weeks or more.

The property is just 15 minutes walk from the beach and fantastic seafood restaurants of Gumusluk. The private pool coupled with two communal pools mean that there is the opportunity to be quiet or sociable, depending on your preference. There are plenty of walking opportunities nearby and watersports for those who are more active. Bodrum, Yalikavak and Turgutreis are also an easy drive for nights out or shopping.

  • Notes on accommodation: A welcome pack is provided, ideal for those late arrivals. There is air-conditioning throughout, and heating to keep you warm in the cooler months. Outside: There is a fully furnished terrace adjoining the living area with BBQ, table, umbrella and seating for 6, ideal for alfresco dining. The terrace overlooks the lovely swimming pool (10m x 4m) which is surrounded by gardens and lawned areas where there are sunbeds for relaxing in the sun. There is a large furnished balcony upstairs, which is accessible from the main bedroom and furnished with coffee table, sofa and armchairs. As well as a private pool, the villa also has access to 2 large communal swimming pools (approx 25m in length) and landscaped gardens. The site even has its own amphitheatre! The pool, terraces and walkways all benefit from external lighting and parking is provided adjacent to the property. Utility Room: There is a separate utility room with washing machine, clothes drier, iron and ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The property is cared for by our managing agents and on-site maintenance personnel. The property will be prepared ready for your arrival, with additional weekly linen change for stays of 2 weeks or more. Please bring your own pool/beach towels. Other: Wireless internet access is available for guests with their own laptop or wireless device.
