About this property

3 bedrooms (1 is en suite), 2 bathrooms one upstairs the other downstairs. Entrance is on top floor leading to bedrooms. Parking spaces for at least 4 cars. Kitchen with all essentials living/dining. Swimming pool (can be heated if required but this will be extra cost which is to be paid direct ) and BBQ area with tabel & chairs & sun lounges. No smoking in the villa.
We have 4 security cameras on the outside of the property protecting the entrances to the villa, Camera 1 is on the car park checking the gate, camera 2 is on the main door viewing the entrance to villa, camera 3 kitchen door looking to see who comes down the side stairs, camera 4 view to living room doors. These have been installed for your security and protection of the villa.

Week in Madeira

Lovely property with an amazing view. Very nice little pool and BBQ area. It was very windy during our time their and the weather wasn't the best but definitely recommend the villa.

Great location with unbeatable view

We have stayed in this property on 3 occasions. Not because it is the perfect house, but because it is good value and suits our needs in Madeira. The layout works well, with 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite) at the 'entrance' level and a large lounge-diner and kitchen with table, and another WC, downstairs. Rooms are generously proportioned, comfortably equipped and all have a view. The house is spotlessly clean and communication with the owner is very easy and reliable. The pool is well-maintained with a great BBQ area and another WC. The best feature of this house is the stunning view over Funchal. In the daytime there is always something new to see (great for kids) and at night the twinkling lights are breathtaking. Outside there is some limited noise from the motorway but, for the period of a holiday, the view is worth it. The house is in a nice area on the outskirts of Funchal, is completely private and secure, with plenty of off-road parking. It's only 20 minutes from the airport with easy connection to the motorway. You can be in central Funchal within 15 minutes. We love it!

Well thought out and well located villa

Lovely view of Funchal with all the amenities you need for a great family break or a group break. The owner has thought about most of the eventualities and ensured you have the resources for them. The kids loved playing in the pool and drying off in the warm sun while overlooking Funchal and the sea. The welcome book gave great tips and advice on what to do. A short drive to Funchal or outlying areas made it easy to get a taste of Madeira...

My parents were both born in Madeira but they both came to the Island of Jersey in the English Channel back in the early sixties. I was born in Jersey along with my sister & Brother and were educated in Jersey. I am married and have a daughter 7 son, my husband was brought up in Madeira. I love to travel and did a bit of travelling through Asia in 1999 - 2000.

Why they chose this property

My parents are from the Island, and majority of my family are there. My husband was brought up in Madeira, this is why we bought the property but until we retire we would like to share the experience of our beautiful villa and the beautiful island of Madeira with others so that you can experience what Madeira has to offer.

What makes this property unique

One of the best attraction that the villa has which we enjoy when we go over and a few of our guests have also mentioned is that it is in a very peaceful area and you can sit at the bottom of the garden with a drink and enjoy the wonderful view of Funchal - because of how high the villa is situated.
