"Escape the crowds"
Just back from a lovely sunny week staying at Villa Farola. The house has plenty of space and is very comfortable, clean and tidy throughout. Michael who looks after it ( and you) is charming and helpful. He manages to be both available and invisible at the same time and was happy to help with restaurant recommendations etc . The big pool was like a bath in temperature when we stayed which meant many happy hours for the children. We couldn't get the TV to work properly but had taken plenty of DVD's and that worked well for us. You are away from the crowds and in a rural location and I would say you must have a car with you to enjoy your stay. We spent a lot of time at El Medano both on the beach and in the restaurants around the square, all very good and lively. We also spent two days at Siam Park for the children, went up to see the volcano, went whale watching and up to the beach at Santa Cruz, all very easy from the house. My husband hired a great bike for the week and enjoyed some serious hill work. We would happily return to Villa Farola.

We had a brilliant holiday. The villa was very clean and tidy. All the bedrooms were a good size and there was loads of space in the lounge and kitchen areas. We all thoroughly enjoyed the pool. Plenty of room in the garden for the children to play and the adults. The only thing it could have done with is a table tennis table or a snnoker table just to give you a bit extra to do in the evenings if you do not want to go out. You do need a car to get around but it does not take you too long to get anywhere. Michael who looks after the villa is very friendly and also very helpful. We would definitely return there as it was very peaceful and relaxing.

We have just arrived home in the UK after an excellent holiday in Tenerife; made extra-special by the beautiful villa we had the pleasure of staying in. Surprisingly secluded as it’s just a short distance from the airport about 5 – 10 minutes by car, however the villa is not in the flight path so there is no aircraft noise. The privacy of the property was perfect for us especially as we have two young children. As we pulled down the drive to the villa Farola through the electric gates we knew we would be able to relax more! Everything we would need was provided; all the extras such as sky TV and internet were there as well. Michael (the property manager) had some helpful suggestions on places to visit and was discreetly on hand for any questions we had. Feeling stress free we spent time in the amazing pool we had all to ourselves or sunbathing whilst enjoying the magnificent views! A few minutes from the beach or the mountains the villa is placed perfectly for both. A lovely trip thoroughly enjoyed by all. We will definitely be returning to this villa, next time with friends as it is plenty big enough. We would highly recommend booking this villa to anyone. Thank you!

To celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary we, a party of nine, chose to stay in this villa and visit the local area. Unfortunately the holiday got off to a bad start. There was a taxi strike the day that we arrived. Thankfully, Michael the caretaker of the property, was good enough to come and collect us even though it meant him having to make two journeys. The property turned out to be far better than expected. It was clean, well maintained and the layout was also was excellent. The property also had sky tv and wifi which was a pleasant surprise. The pool was lovely, the water was always warm and there were ample sun beds available. If you wanted to go exploring the surrounding area I would recommend hiring a car, although Michael was always on hand if you prefer to book a taxi. There is a little shop less than a five minute walk from the property and a local bar a little bit further up. Both places I found to be very hospitable. We enjoyed a great day out at Sian Park, which is the water park at Las Americas this is about 15 minutes by car. We also ventured up into the mountains which was breath taking. If you like windsurfing surfing or kiting then this is the place for you. We loved it.

"Private & Tranquil"
Just got back after a 2 week break, it was our first time at the villa but we have enjoyed the stay. The heated swimming pool was lovely and having it all to yourself was brill, the villa has good sized bedrooms and the downstairs open plan living space is very generous. Our local contact was Michael who lived right next door to the villa, Michael met us on arrival and he was extremely helpful, he told us about a local restaurant called San Jose which we tried and the steaks were out of this world, we actually went back 3 times we were so impressed, also a Chinese take away in San Isidro that delivered was also brilliant I would recommend people to try them. We had complete privacy and we only saw Michael if we rang him or knocked on his door. El Medano is approx. 10 mins away by car and has a lovely square with cafe's and a lovely sea front and beach.
