Traditional Spanish apartment on two floors with two twin-bedded rooms, living room and breakfast room/kitchen, forming part of a 25-unit private complex rising to only three storeys. Ground and first floor accommodation provides easy access for all. Only two minutes' walk to Carabeillo Beach (and a further five minutes to the famous Burriana Beach), and a gentle ten minute stroll along Calle Carabeo to the town centre and the Balcon de Europa. Very comfortable accommodation with sunny balcony overlooking well landscaped grounds and private shared pool (open end May to end September). Fans and heaters are provided for summer and winter occupancy, and shutters provide insulation and security. All facilities (bars, restaurants, shops) within a few minutes. Suitable for family of four or two couples. Rentals on a daily basis - yes, come and stay for a long weekend or a few days off peak!
Bedrooms 1 and 2 both with twin beds and large built-in wardrobes and fans/heaters if required. Sufficient pillows and bedding to cover all requirements.
Shower, wash-hand basin, vanity unit, WC, washing machine and heated towel rail.
All facilities provided in very recently refurbished kitchen/diner - electric hob, electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, electric kettle, toaster, etc., plus a wide range of crockery, glassware, cutlery and pots and pans, table and four chairs.
Comfortably furnished with a pair of two-seater settees and occasional tables, and glass doors to a small Juliet balcony overlooking the street. TV/DVD player, radio/CD player, and fans and heaters. English TV stations currently unavailable.
To the rear is a balcony with table and four chairs. Enjoy eating in a sunny aspect overlooking the landscaped gardens. A sunblind is installed. Internet access to TV currently being explored at satellite signal recently changed.
The apartment will have been cleaned prior to your arrival, with fresh linen and towels being replaced weekly unless you prefer a spare set to be provided. Please bring your own beach towels.

Outside the front door is a large terrace with orange trees and benches, beyond which is a grassed area leading to a newly renovated private shared pool with showers and WC (May - September).
Parking is on the road, but there is a large public car park only 200m around the corner, beyond the adjoining fitness centre (pool, turkish baths, jacuzzi, sauna, gym, etc).
Important notes on accommodation
The apartment is suitable for all ages - there are only five steps leading from the street and inside is a gentle staircase with handrails. All water in the apartment is heated by an electric boiler so no worries about gas bottles running out and needing changing!

Notes on prices
Prices are per day in UK Pounds. Payment in Euros can be arranged. Minimum stay of 4 days. Prices for stays longer than 10 days are by negotiation. It may be possible to arrange early and/or late arrivals for half the daily rental rate.
Unlike most other rental properties we are happy to take bookings for more or less than the normal Sat to Sat week - a daily rate is therefore charged. Check out the long weekend possibilities!
Please book directly with the owners. A 25% deposit will be required to secure your reservation, with the balance payable 6 weeks before arrival. A £100 refundable security deposit will be payable. The apartment should be vacated by 10am on the day of departure allowing the opportunity for the property to be cleaned and linen changed in time for new arrivals after 4pm. Full terms and conditions, booking form, inventory and directions to the apartment will be sent in due course.
Apartment in Nerja, Costa del Sol
About the area
Nerja benefits from a number of sandy beaches, the largest being the Blue Flag Burriana Beach, a short stroll along the sand and surf beyond Playa Carabeillo which is only 200m away (but accessed by a number of steps!). Other beaches in the town can be readily accessed on foot.
There are a number of local golf courses within less than one hour's drive.
A two hour drive will take you to the ski resorts of the Sierra Nevada.
How to get there
Airports at Malaga (45 minutes) and Granada (75 minutes) are within easy reach. If not hiring a car from Malaga, you can hire a taxi, but many use the regular local bus service - the apartment is about 15 minutes' walk from the bus station at Nerja. Bus timetables can be viewed on www.alsa.es.
The pretty village of Frigiliana is 10 minutes inland, whilst the famous caves at Maro are a pleasant 15 minutes' drive along the coast. The cities of Malaga, Granada and Seville are all within reasonable travelling time, either by car or by public transport.
A large selection of bars, restaurants and shops is available within a few minutes' walk.

the apartment was in an ideal location,near to restaurants and food store . close to beach and a lovley town . the apartment is well looked after and has everything you need . would recommend and stay again
Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children and romantic getaway
About the Owner
We bought our apartment after visiting Nerja a few times and deciding that it was a town we enjoyed spending time in and would keep returning to.
At the moment we can only manage to make short visits ourselves but hope to have longer stays when we retire.

Why this location?
What we like most about Nerja is that it retains a Spanish traditional atmosphere and has not been spoiled by high-rise developments. It does not "close" during the winter as many resorts do so it is ideal for visits all year round. Nerja is east of Malaga - a 40 minute drive or use the excellent bus service. Our apartment is on the edge of the "old" town and we chose that area because it is easy to walk to several beaches, shops, restaurants and bars and therefore not always necessary to hire a car. If you do want to travel further afield there are many places of interest in Andalucia which can be reached easily by car or public transport such as Granada, Nerja Caves and the many coastal resorts of the Costa del Sol.
What are the unique benefits of the property?
Since we have owned our apartment we have refurbished the bathroom and, more recently, the kitchen. It now benefits from having an electric water heater so no worries about gas bottles running out. The apartment is in a small private development and has well looked after gardens to the rear and a shared swimming pool which is usually open end of May to September.
