"Great find in the heart of the Albayzin"
We chose to base our Granada holiday in the Albayzin and managed to find this great little apartment. It's fully equipped with everything you'll need and is perfectly located whether you just want to wander or pick up the local bus. It is pretty hilly but my 85 year old mother stayed with us for the first week and she managed fine. Local amenities are just a short walk away and the 'Bonno Turistico' ticket was very good value. We took advantage of the offer of Jamie picking us up at Malaga airport and bringing us to the flat directly - money well spent - and he's a good source of local info. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this accommodation.

I travelled alone looking for a typical Spanish apartment, plenty of history, restaurants, cafes, shopping and this beautiful house and location provided it all. The owner has restored this property to a really high standard with a mix of old and new and provided all I could need for my stay. Plenty of space for four. The on site manager, Jamie, was exceptional and I recommend obtaining his email before you arrive for contact and further information. The house is close to the centre of everything but in a beautiful narrow street. Yes, the previous reviewer is right, there is some street noise at night with bins being emptied and people walking home, but I would rate this apartment as 95% perfect. The photographs are a true reflection. Before I travelled, in line with Owners Direct advice, I tried several times, unsuccessfully, to contact the owner on the telephone, altho I had emails, and was concerned (particularly travelling alone) that this was a genuine rental. It was a worry I had, which was unnecessary and could easily be rectified. SO, A GREAT APARTMENT AND GREAT LOCATION. I do recommend it.

Apartment was clean, comfortable and in a good location for sightseeing. Tony met us when we arrived and he was really helpful with general information. He kindly walked us to the local supermarket so that we could get our bearings which was much appreciated. Only issue would be that the apartment was a little bit small for 4 adults and also the bedroom windows are above the street. Even with the windows and shutters closed you can hear people talking as they walk home late at night and the occasional car on the cobblestones as they pass. Can be a bit disruptive if you are a light sleeper. Enjoyed our stay in Granada.

"Welcome to Granada"
The San Jose apartments are a great place to stay. They are located in the heart of Albayzin and conveniently near all the major attractions in Granada. The apartments are clean and cozy; and Lisa, on site manager, is a great resource person and able to help you navigate your time in the city. This place is so much better than a hotel. You feel at home while you're in Granada.

Just wanted to say that we had a lovely time. The apartment was absolutely great, and in brilliant location with lots of atmosphere. Thanks for organising it, must recommend you on your total service. (Yorkabel Soquar, May 07).
We just came home from a wonderful week in Andalucia, which started in your lovely apartment. It was everything I hoped for and a true home away from home. Sorry we couldn’t stay longer, we hope to be back one day and will definitely recommend your place to our friends! (Marion Korting, November 07)
I just wanted to say thank you for the excellent organisation of the apartment. The flat is located very nice and we felt very good in the Albaycin. Lisa is very kind. If we return to Granada we surely will spend some more days in your house. (Sebastian Haag, April 08)
