The St James development is situated on the west side of the attractive resort of Praia da Luz. Our fully air conditioned apartment boasts 2 superbly furnished bedrooms, living room with patio doors leading out onto the balcony, dining area with seating for 6, a fully equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms. For your enjoyment we have provided Sky TV and a CD player. There is a children's play area and terrace seating with views of the pools and garden. The gardens have been landscaped to a very high standard. Our guests will be provided with passes to allow them to access the pool areas where sunbeds and parasols are provided. Ideally located within a few minutes walk of some fabulous restaurants and the beautiful beach, and within easy access of some of the Algarves finest golf courses. The historic harbour town of Lagos is only a 10 minute drive away.
Bedroom 1 is air-conditioned and has twin beds, bedside tables and lamps, fitted wardrobes, and has patio doors leading onto the balcony.
Bedroom 2 is air-conditioned, has twin beds, bedsides tables and lamps and fitted wardrobes.
Bathroom 1 consists of bath with shower over, wash basin, toilet and bidet, and heated towel rail.

The kitchen is equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, electric oven/hob, fridge freezer, microwave and toaster. There are plenty of cooking utensils for the keen chef and plenty of storage cupboards and work surfaces.
The spacious living room has been furnished to a very high standard and is air-conditioned having one 3-seater and one 2-seater sofa bed. Dining table to seat 6. TV with some Sky channels, CD player. Patio doors lead out onto the balcony.
All linen and house towels are provided. A maid service is provided once per week where the apartment is fully cleaned and fresh house towels and linen are supplied. You will need to provide your own beach and pool towels.

There is a large adult and large children's shared swimming pool in the complex, and we will provide you with passes to access this area. Sun loungers and parasols are available around the pool for guests.
Important notes on accommodation
The air-conditioning system doubles up as a heating system and therefore the apartment is suitable for winter lets. A coded safe is provided to secure your valuables. Cots and a high chair is provided free of charge.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week and are in UK Pounds. At the discretion of the owners it may be possible to take a 5th or 6th person and an additional £50 per week will be charged for each additional person. There is a minimum 4 day stay/no max stay. We can accept payment in both sterling and euros. The rates include a maid service once a week and all linen and house towels. A non-returnable deposit of £100 is required to secure any bookings. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to your stay.
As a general rule you will be able to access the apartment at 2.00pm on arrival and must vacate by 10.00am on departure, however, we will be as flexible as possible on changeover days and times to enable you to secure the best flight prices.
A £100 deposit is required to secure your booking. Full payment is required 8 weeks before departure. A security deposit for breakages of £100 is required 2 weeks prior to departure, this will be fully refunded should no damage or breakages occur.

About the area
The wide sandy beach of Praia da Luz is approx. 400 metres away, a 5-10 minute stroll. Luz beach has achieved blue flag status and has handicap facilities. The beach also offers shops, cafes and toilets. A variety of watersports are available during the summer season. There are also a number of fine beaches in the surrounding areas for you to explore.
The Western Algarve is arguably the premier golf location on the Iberian peninsula. The apartment is very well situated for golfers being only ten mintues drive from the 18 hole Boa Vista golf course. Parque da Floresta is 8 miles to the west. Palmares with its spectacular scenery can be reached within 20 minutes and is located on the eastern side of Lagos. A little further afield is the excellent championship course of Penina. Other courses nearby include Salgados and Alto. For the hardcore golfer Villamoura is an hours drive away and boasts some of the best golf courses in the world including Pinhal and the 'old course'. How to get there
Faro airport is 90km away from Luz, only a 45 minute drive along the A22. We are happy to advise on transfers from the airport to resort - please contact us for details. Hiring a car is not necessary in Luz as the beach, shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. However, should you wish to explore the Algarve we will be happy to recommend car hire companies.
The harbour town of Lagos is 5km away and there are many shops and restaurants. For the more adventurous take a trip to watch the dolphins, or a boat trip from the marina. For children, the nearest waterpark (slide & splash) is at Lagoa which is a 30 minute drive away. Our apartment managers Norma and Paul will be the main point of contact during your stay. They live in Lagos which is only 15 minutes from St James so you can be assured that should you require any assistance help is close at hand.
