    Very well finished, south facing, spacious house ideal for families and large groups. Located in spectacular rural surroundings on the edge of a mountainside 'white' village. Private, secluded setting but only 10 minutes walk from bustling village centre. Full catering can be arranged on request. Can also be rented alongside property no: S2035. Wifi enabled, so please bring your laptop if you wish. Also has a Wii, but please bring your own games.

    Very well equipped large kitchen with vitreo ceramic 5-ring hob, oven, 2 fridges, drinks cooler, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine and microwave.

    Living Rooms:
    Large air conditioned family room with plenty of comfortable seating and seperate tv area. 48" Plasma screen, Sky, home cinema system and dvd player. Dining table with seating for 8. Sliding doors open directly onto sun terrace. Wifi/Intenet bring laptop.

    Other:
    Spacious covered terrace for outdoor dining or relaxing. Huge private terrace outside top floor master bedroom with breathtaking views of village, valley and mountains.

    Cleaning/Towels/Linen/Maid service:
    Towels and linen are included. Poolside/beach towels are not included, guests are advised to bring their own. Cleaning/ linen change is fortnightly but can be done more frequently by arrangement. Parking/access is good.

    Pool has shallow section suitable for small children and pool cover for safety and warmth. Two huge terraces with poolside shower and plenty of poolside furniture and sun umbrellas. Very pretty planted garden and barbecue/fireplace for outdoor dining. Top terrace is huge, with spectacular views and can be accessed from second master bedroom.

    Important notes on accommodation

    All rooms have airconditioning and/or ceiling fans. Living room has cinema surround sound along with tv area. All rooms have mosquito screens.
    Access to the house is good. Luggage can be unloaded directly at the front door. Parking is 200 yards away. The house is not suitable for people with walking disabilities.

    About the area

    Coast/Beach
    Marbella is great for shopping and eating and offers some beautiful beaches. Most are within 45 mins drive from the house. Tarifa, a cool place for surfies, is a 2 hour drive from the house. The historic coastal city of Malaga is a great place to visit and is an hour and fifteen minutes drive from the house.

    Golf
    The house is 45 mins from the coast around Marbella. Several excellent golf courses are easily within a 45 mins drive.

    Skiing
    The Sierra Nevadas are a two hour drive from the house. There, you can hire all necessary equipment for a days skiing.

    How to get there
    Malaga airport is 1 hour and 15 minutes. Jerez is 2 hours from the house but is a very pleasant drive and often cheaper with Ryanair. The airport is also much smaller than Malaga, therefore quicker to get through. Car hire is essential and available from both airports. www.carjet.com is a reliable, cheap option for bookings.

    Distances
    Ronda is one of the most picturesque towns in Spain and has one of the oldest bullrings still in operation. It can easily be reached by car in 45 mins and is well worth a visit for a great day out. Seville is only two hours away as is Cadiz and Jerez, where sherry originates from.

    The village has 2 fairly well stocked supermarkets, 2 fresh fish shops, 4 bakeries, 4 butchers, 3 patisseries, a tobacconists, a post office, 3 banks, 2 discos, telephone boxes, several cashpoints and phone charging facilities. There are numerous bars and 5 restaurants. There's also a church and a petrol station. The cemetery is worth a visit and the water tower houses a museum of village artefacts. Horseriding, hiking and a guided tour around the village and it's places of interest can be arranged on request. Plenty of birdwatching, eagles, kites, etc around the house. Hot air balooning available in Ronda.
