Panoramica is situated on Spain’s Costa del Azahar (Orange Blossom Coast) approx half way between Barcelona and Valencia and is easily reachable from these airports and from nearby Reus Airport. A new airport is under construction at Castellon making for an even shorter transfer time.
Surrounded by orange groves and olive trees the Panoramica Estate lies approx 12 km inland from the costal towns of Vinaros, Benicarlo and Peniscola and near the hamlet of Sant Jordi. It is easily accessible from the main A7 Barcelona – Valencia autoroute and offers peace and tranquillity unlike other more populated parts of Spain. The centrepiece of the development is the Panoramica Golf Course, a championship layout designed by Bernhard Langer and the apartments excellent location has views of the course from front and back.

About the area
Panoramica itself is set in the heart of orange and olive plantations in gently rolling countryside, a short 10 minute drive takes you to the nearest town of Vinaros and its neighbouring towns of Benicarlo and Peniscola. All of these towns are bustling fishing ports and tourist hotspots, with award winning blue flag beaches, upmarket shops, typical Spanish restaurants and have a general feeling of being in the ‘real Spain’. This part of Spain is unspoiled by major development.
Panoramica Golf and Country Club
This testing par 72 course measuring 6429m is a challenge for the expert or occasional golfer alike, designed by Ryder Cup Captain Bernhard Langer it is acknowledged as one of the finest in Europe. Set in an olive grove and covering 198 acres with several lakes and extensive practice facilities the complex is a true golfers paradise. Green fee’s are also very reasonable and are much lower than in other area’s of Spain.
Facilities include – 2 driving ranges, practice holes, putting green, pro shop with an impressive club, restaurant and bar.
How to get there
The Costa Dorada and Costa Azahar are easier to get to now than ever before with a number of scheduled and charter fights available including several low cost carriers including Easyjet and Ryanair. Barcelona airport is 2 hrs away, Valencia about 1 hr 30 mins and Reus about 1 hr. The A7 Coastal Motorway links all three and Panoramica is only 3 miles from junction 42 near Vinaros.
We will offer advice on travel, including supplying maps of airports, flight timetables, travel routes etc.
Portaventura Theme park is about an hours drive or can be reached by train from a choice of nearby stations. Barcelona is best reached by train and is about a 2 and half hour trip depending on schedules. Valencia home in for the next few years of the European Grand Prix is around one and a half hours away by car or train.
Vinaros has everything for a self catering holiday, there are large supermarkets (Sabeco, Lidl and Carrefour) all just off the N340 and many up market shops, banks etc in the town centre. The Mercat is the local market place where you can buy anything from freshly caught fish to souvenirs, or simply stand and watch the locals carry out their business.
Heading North East into the mountains opens up some magnificent scenery and this is ideal for walkers and cyclists and for a day out. The mountain town of Morella is well worth a visit, with its medieval castle and white washed buildings it epitomises the picture postcard image of a Spanish pueblo.
The Universal Studios, Port Aventura theme park is about an hour north and can be reached by car, bus or train, here there are over 1 million square metres of thrilling rides, dazzling shows and restaurants to suit all tastes.
Barcelona and Valencia are major cultural and economic centres in Spain, we would recommend these are visited as part of a longer trip maybe with an overnight stay. They can both be reached by car or by the excellent train service that runs from Vinaros.
About the Owner
We are both keen golfers who chose a property at Panoramica for many reasons, the testing golf course and the peace of the area which is blessed with so many things to do and see.
We are in our mid 50's and with grown up children we understand the requirements of both young families and more mature clients, we take pride in the equipment levels in the apartment and like to think it is a home from home for your holiday.We like the fact that the apartment has views of the golf course and surrounding area from both front and rear terraces, the later being glazed in for more comfort.
