A corner plot bungalow which can sleep up to six. The bungalow is located in Corralejo Town (near 'Baku' water park). It is an easy walk to the start of parque Natural beaches and to the town centre bars and shops. It will easily sleep 6 in the property's two bedrooms (bedroom two can sleep 3) and one of the three seater bed settees in the living room. There is a spectacular 60sq.m roof solarium with views to Lanzarote and the mountains. There is a secluded 50sq.m tiled rear patio with barbecue (BBQ) and retractable awning for shade. There is private off road parking. There is a communal pool and infant pool. High speed ADSL 3MB (fast internet) - digital, straight down the phone (local fee - please ask) (10 times faster than most). There are six reclining back sun loungers, outside eating table with 6 chairs, parasol. A short walk from the beaches of the Parque Natural and main shops / bars. A good location in Corralejo. Master bedroom – features a double bed, large built-in wardrobes with sliding doors, and a chest of drawers. Large fan and hairdryer. There is key code security safe inside the wardrobe.
Bedroom 2 – two single beds & folding bed to sleep 3 kids.
Bathroom – contains a full length bath and over-bath shower. There is a UPVC rigid shower screen, toilet, wash hand basin and bidet.
There is a large oven and ceramic hob with extractor fan, a microwave oven, and tall integrated fridge/ freezer. There is a washing machine, clothes horse, iron board & iron, toaster & kettle, sandwich toastie. There is a breakfast bar & four stools.

Fresh bedding and towels are included. If staying for 2 weeks, bedding and towels are changed and a further clean is given. You have access to a 24 hour British based contact close by. Airport transfers can be arranged at a small charge from this agent.

The roof terrace is 60m2 with views of Lanzarote and the surrounding mountains. Rear Patio 40m2 – This is accessed from the double patio doors off the living room. It basks in the sun and can be shaded by a 4m wide awning canopy if you desire. It is secluded and features a BBQ unit, table and four comfortable chairs and a parasol. Swimming pool - Communal adult and infant pool.

We do not charge (unfair) damages deposits. We operate on trust. Only a 10% deposit to book for one and two week holidays. Pay the balence about 5 weeks before you go. Simple. Low deposit and low risk to you. Local fee - please ask - for high speed ADSL 3MB (fast internet) (local fee applies), straigh down a phone. This is the same as home. It is way more reliable and faster (you can actually surf the net or you tube!) than the standard antenna received offetring in most holdiay flats.
About the area
The spectacular beaches and sand dunes of the Parque Natural are only 1 to 2km away. These beaches stretch for several kilometres and include Oliva beach, the famous Flag beach and Waikiki beach. The dunes need to be seen. This area of town is basically as close as you are going to get to these stunning beaches.
The house is 5 minutes away by car from the Oliva Golf development (under construction and due to open in the summer of 2008). You are a 35 minute drive from the Fuertventura Golf Club at Calete de Fuste (host of the 2004 Spanish Open on the PGA European Tour).
How to get there
The airport at Puerto del Rosario is 30 minutes awy by car. I can arrange airport transfers for you at only 50 euros return for 4 people. If there are six people, call me. Car hire is not necessary you are within an easy walk of all amenities. But, car hire is cheap, and if you do hire a car, and there are so many spectacular places to see that it would be a shame not to, you will find that you are only a short drive from the Chipmunks, the mountains and the harbour, the zoo.
It is not necessary to hire a car at this house. The house is actually in the town of Corralejo. It is not 3km outside of town and yet still calls itself Corralejo. You have a short walk to the old town and harbour area and the start of Oliva beach (which streches for miles).

There is a large local supermarket close by. A bus stop which will take you out and about. You are very close to the Baku water park and market area with ten pin bowling, restuarants etc. There are local bars, bookies etc nearby and the heart of the nightlife is a gentle walk away. A day trip to Lanzarote is near and dead easy.

A nice small 2-bedroomed bungalow with a lovely high-walled back yard and a high-walled roof terrace on top. The reason I mention the high-walls is that it does a good job of sheltering the wind and also means both areas are safe for small children. We chose not to hire a car, which in retrospect we probably should have done as it's a lot of walking for small children if you want to get anywhere. 5 minute walk up the hill to the big supermarket. 5 minute walk down the hill to the taxi rank (where there are a couple of bars and a cafe). Taxis into the main street/town beach of Corralejo are about 4 euros now. A taxi to the big Flag Beach (much nicer beach than the town beach) is about 5 euros. The bus stop is about 10 minute walk from the bungalow but is 1.40 euro adult fare to the Flag Beach. The cooker broke on our first day but it was replaced by Gary the agent within an hour, so no complaints there. Some of the furnishings in the bungalow are now starting to show their age (wonky kitchen drawers etc) but nothing that would ruin your holiday! Some of the documents that the owner provided are in need of an update (eg taxi prices etc are all out of date, some places mentioned have closed down, and the TV channels available aren't the same as in the document, no sunbeds by the pool etc) The pool was really nice, not heated but warm enough to be a nice cool-off from the hot sun. Most times we had the pool to ourselves, even though it is communally shared by the Las Americas II estate, there was never more than a couple of other people using it. Great price for what you get, and although it's not in central Corralejo, it's still nearer than a lot of the other apartments we looked at that said Corralejo but were actually a few miles away Having a local English couple as the agents was a great source of comfort - they were really helpful

"A real private sun trap bungalow"
We were very impressed with this property. Everything was as described and the private patio and sun roof was lovely. My son was revising for upcoming exams so the highspeed internet was invaluable. The apartment was clean, well-equipped and well-maintained. Excellent communication with the owner and the local agents, Christine and Gary. Any queries, I had prior to the holiday were answered within hours. We found plenty of restaurants and bars to keep us busy and the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this property and area. The beach and Dunes (literally on the door step) are stunning. We had a great relaxing time there.

This property has absolutely everything needed for a self catering holiday,although there were only two of us it is an ideal villa for a family. We particularly enjoyed the privacy of the patio area and sunroof on days when we just wanted to chill out, English TV and WiFi were a welcome bonus. The information Iain provided on every thing was excellent nothing was overlooked right down to a taxi phone number, and the property was immaculate. Great location a 5 minute stroll to a really good supermarket and 10 minutes to Tiffany's Eatery where good portions at reasonable prices are served, just out of the town but not to far. The festival through the town is something not to be missed in March it really is a wonderful atmosphere, walk down the main street with the trucks all decorated and the locals dressed up in the theme for the year, stop at Music Square and enjoy a meal then a taxi back just 3 Euro's. The agents on the island Christine and Gary are only a phone call away and nothing is to much trouble for them. We will never book another package holiday as this was so stress free from the first point of contact to the return airport transfer. We would recommend also return.

"Really nice holiday"
Stayed here for 3 weeks and found this to be a very relaxing holiday.The bungalow is very comfortable and the wifi is very quick and useful to have.The garden and roof terrace enjoy sun all day long.I would recommend this as a great holiday rental.

"Sunny Christmas !!!"
We were a party of 5, 3 adults and 2 children. The bungalow was fabulous, exactly as the pictures show! Very comfortable for us all. It was great to have a reliable Internet connection and good BBC and ITV tele. We were impressed by the big private terraces with plenty of seating areas for different times of the day, would be a fantastic place to be in the summer! The children absolutely loved the pool, which they had to themselves. The Bungalow is situated at Parque Natural in a nice and peaceful residential area. Walk into town was about 10-15 mins, easily done even with three little ones. Taxis easily accessible for return approx 3 euros. There is a large supermarket (Mercadona) close by, well worth the trip as excellent value. Beach lovely and clean with a small play area, nice coastal walks too. Many nice places to eat in the evening. Billy

We particularly loved your fabulous sun terraces and roof solariums - we got direct sunlight from 8.00am through to sun down - very private which was nice. Why this location?
I had travelled a lot in the Canaries. Done many golf holidays in Tenerife and guys holidays in Gran Canaria and family holidays in Lanzarote. I reluctantly booked a package holiday to Fuerteventura one year thinking it this was the poor man's Canary Island. How wrong could I be. It was simply stunning. I had never seem beaches in Europe this good. The low rise building were colourful and looked Andalusian in design (none of that boring white stuff with blue windows or tall tower blocks). The property prices seemed to be about 25% cheaper than the other Canary islands and yet the island was 125% more beautiful. Fuerteventura to me means that once you visit it, you will never go back to Lanzarote or Gran Canaria etc.
