One of four tasteful apartments to rent in a restored 18th century listed townhouse/carmen. Located as close as possible to the city centre whilst still being in the Albayzin, the charming old Moorish quarter of Granada, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Within 5 mins walk of Plaza Nueva as well as the cathedral where shuttle buses depart every few minutes up to the Alhambra. The central location means you are also a short walk from numerous shops bars and restaurants. The apartment has spectacular views south of the Alhambra and Sierra Nevada mountains and a private terrace where you can bask in the sun and take in these views. The renovation has aimed to fuse 18th century charm with 21st century comfort and style providing you with air-con/heating, WiFi internet access, DVD player, powerful walk-in shower etc. There is even an Arabic bath in the master bedroom to soak in after a hard day sightseeing or skiing, something few apartments in Granada offer. Parking arranged 40 euros per week.

Polished cement work surface, gas hob, stainless steel oven, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine, toaster, coffee maker and kettle. Table with 4 chairs. Salt, pepper, olive oil, and a welcoming supply of English tea, ground coffee and milk.
Balcony with views south of Alhambra and Sierra Nevada mountains. Large, comfortable sofa and armchair. Hi speed WiFi internet access, TV & DVD player.
Bed linen and towels are provided and will be changed weekly.

Please be aware that the Albayzin is a maze of narrow cobbled streets and steps built on the side of a hill. The apartment is in the lowest part of the Albayzin closest to the true centre of town which is Plaza Nueva. But it is still a five minute walk uphill from the centre which some people may find difficult.
Rooftop private terrace accessed by spiral staircase from living room. Outdoor table and reclining chairs provided for dining or sunbathing.

- the insiders tapas bar tour.
- walks through the woods surrounding the Alhambra, once the hunting estates of the Moorish sultans with wonderful views over the city and to the high peaks of the Sierra Nevada.

How to get there
The apartment is accessible by car without needing an access pass. The owners can recommend a city centre car park that costs 40 euros per week, we also have a private parking space near the apartment 15 euros per day.
Granada airport 20 mins drive, 27 euros in a taxi or 30 euros if you are picked up by our driver. Malaga airport 1 hour 15 min drive, buses from Malaga to Granada leave every hour.
The centrality of the apartment means it is less than 5 minutes walk from numerous tapas bars and restaurants, the best of which the owners recommend in an up-to-date restaurant guide which is provided for the guests.
Granada´s main food market is also close by where clients will be able to find fresh local produce.

"Close, warm & comfortable"
The apartment was located in a lovely quiet part of the old town and quite close to the centre of the city, literally 5 min from Plaza Nueva. It was very comfortable and had most of the facilities we required. As we were there mid winter and had spent several days up skiing it was important that the apartment was well heated, which it was. The roof terrace provided lovely views of the Alhambra and the Sierra Nevadas and would be a little more enjoyable in the warmer weather.

We just wanted to say that we had an awesome time in Granada! The apartment is lovely and well maintained. The location is ideal and, having stayed there, we have a greater appreciation for the Albaycin. Lisa was especially kind and helpful. She is knowledgeable about the area and very accommodating.
