Our luxury apartment is directly overlooking the 8th Fairway on the Panoramica Championship Golf Course (designed by Bernhard Langer). The Swiss-Built development of only 24 apartments has a huge ornate swimming pool, barbecue area and gardens. In addition to offering fantastic Golf, this is a great base for exploring local beaches, towns and amazing scenery.

The property will be cleaned and perepared for your arrival. Hand towels and bath towels are provided for all guests. Beds are made before your arrival. For long stays a change of towels and bedlinen will be provided for each full week.

The apartment is within beautifully landscaped gardens. The 24 apartments in the development share a huge ornate swimming pool with a waterfall running into it! There is a large barbeque area available for guests to use.
Important notes on accommodation
The apartment is in an elevated position on the first floor and has a spectacular view over the golf course and swimming pool area. The property is suitable for children. The entire Golf Course complex is accessed through a permanently manned security gate.
Wifi access is provided by a 3G modem / router in the apartment. 1Gb of data is provided free of charge with each week of booking. Additional data can be provided if required at the cost of £10/Gb.

Notes on prices
We are happy to offer rentals of less than one week, however these are more expensive per day due to the cost of apartment preparation, cleaning and laundry. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and we will quickly provide a price for you. We can offer discounts for long rentals - please contact us to discuss any such requirements.
We are happy to be as flexible as possible with both the duration of your stay and changeover day. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
A 25% deposit is payable (non refundable) on booking with the balance payable four weeks prior to arrival. We also require a damage protection deposit of £100 paid along with the booking balance.

About the area
The nearest beaches are approximately 15 minutes drive away. The nearby coast has an abundance of safe, clean beaches and coves of all types.
The apartment is directly on the Championship Course, which was designed by Bernhard Langer. Panoramica is a beautiful course to play and walk around and it is suitable for all levels of ability. In addition to the main championship course, there is a new par 3 18 hole course, a large driving range, 3 par 3 practice holes and a putting practice area. The clubhouse has all usual facilities. Clubs, trolleys and buggies can be hired and the Golf school is able to provide lessons for all abilities.
A huge advantage of Panoramica is that the golf is much cheaper, and tee times are more easily available than the equivalent courses in southern Spain and Portugal.
How to get there
Panoramica is easily accessible from 4 airports served by low-cost airlines. Approximate travel times from Spanish airports are as follows: Castellon - 40 minutes. Reus - 55 minutes. Valencia - 1hour 30mins. Barcelona - 1hour 45mins. We are able to provide you with details on the best car hire companies to use.
Approximate driving times are as follows:
Vinaros - 15 mins.
Peniscola - 30 mins.
Morella - 40 mins.
Port Aventura - 50 mins.
Barcelona - 1 hour 45 mins.
Valencia - 1 hour 30 mins.
There are several restaurants on the panoramica site. There are also numerous excellent restaurants of all types within a short drive. The nearest supermarket is only 10 minutes away and there are several large supermarkets within 15 minutes drive. There are many wonderful places to visit around Panoramica, suiting all levels of energy and interest. Vinaros is a lovely traditional Spanish town with daily Market, great restaurants and beaches. Peniscola is beautiful castle town and was the location of the film El Cid. Morella is stunning hilltop medieval town which has to be seen to be believed. The Ebro Delta is a huge nature reserve / bird sanctuary. Benifassar National Park this is a stunning inland park which has a beautiful lake where you can enjoy boating and fishing. Port Aventura is Universals' answer to Euro Disney and a real treat for the kids or thrill seeking grown-ups! Universal have recently added the Coasta Caribe water park. The wonderful cities of Barcelona and Valencia are both about 1hr 30 mins. drive.

We have just returned from a lovely, relaxing week at this apartment. On arrival we found it to be spotlessly clean, with the beds all made and a selection of essential provisions in the fridge. This apartment is lovely because the corner balcony overlooks the golf course and the swimming pool, which was great as we could watch our teenage boys enjoy the pool, whilst relaxing watching the golfers. Quite often the boys had the pool to themsleves, as it is only used by the residence in the four apartment blocks, and as these weren't all occupied it felt very private. The location is great. You definately need a car, but the coast and mountains are only around a 25 min drive away. Barcelona is about a 1hr 45 mins, and we did this in a day trip. However, just be aware of the toll charges as it cost us 25 euros each way. We had the most fantastic time and there is nothing I can fault about this appartment. Also the owners have been really flexible with changeover days and helpful with any questions, providing good information about the facilities and places of interest around. All in all a 5 star holiday and we would not hesitate in going back. Thanks again Dave and Sally.

We've just arrived home safely and wanted to let you know how much we've enjoyed our stay at your apartment - it's so peaceful and we couldn't believe we had that beautiful pool to ourselves most of the time! Your apartment provided us with all the necessary home comforts and we spent many a night just chilling on the balcony. It also provided us with a perfect base from which to explore the surrounding area - we took your advice and visited Ulldecona Lake which was a massive hit with our 15 year old daughter - much to our surprise!
About the Owner
Dave and Sally Derham live in an old farmhouse on the outskirts of Bristol. Dave runs his own coaching and consultancy business whilst Sally is a therapist specialising in panic attacks and phobias, working largely on the recommendation of local GP's. Dave and Sally have always been keen on property design and serious DIY. They are currently carrying out their most ambitious project to date - a barn conversion, which they plan to move into as soon as it is finished. They are doing most of the building work themselves and have found it a massive learning exercise! As well as doing therapy work, Sally works with a local rescue centre to rehabilitate problematic dogs which have been abandoned. Dave relaxes by playing guitar and rebuilding classic cars and motorcycles.

Why this location?
Dave and Sally first visited the Cost Del Azahar in 1996 and fell in love with it immediately. It is a very rare jewel which has retained its genuine Spanish charm and has avoided the blight of mass tourism. Having spent several holidays exploring the area, Dave and Sally bought a house on the coast in 2002. Shortly after this, they both started working for themselves and were able to spend a lot more time in Spain. The more time they spent there, the more they loved it. In 2004 they were really impressed when they saw the new apartments being built by a Swiss company at Panoramica. The apartments are lovely and the setting is stunning. They quickly decided to buy one.
What are the unique benefits of the property?
The location is perfect for anyone wanting a holiday exploring the beautiful area inland as well as being 15 minutes from lovely beaches. The magnificent Golf course is a bonus. The Panoramica site itself is in a lovely location surrounded by miles of orange groves. It is incredibly peaceful and you can't help but relax when you are there. Most of our guests there spend time exploring the area and are all amazed by the scenery and places they visit. The children love it as the pool is one of the best we have seen anywhere and it is never crowded. The apartment overlooks the pool so it is great for the parents to relax on the terrace and keep an eye on the kids!
