Our holiday apartment is situated on the lower level of the complex in a peaceful location. (The ground level provides free undercover parking for residents only). The Apartment and has been extremely well furnished with particular attention having being given towards families with children. Additional units have been installed to both bedrooms making the Apartment fully Airconditioned/heated. The pool area provides both terraced and grassy areas for sunbathing with areas of natural shade being provided by trees. The Apartment has been equipped with everything you will need for a relaxing self catering holiday. The safe Blue Flag sandy beach is a 5-10 minute stroll away through pines and sand dunes. Son Parc offers a good selection of bars and restaurants as well as several supermarkets, all of which are within a 5 minute walk.
Bed 1 - Kingsize bed which can be split into 2 twin beds. Air Con/Heating. Fitted wardrobes. Rear balcony.
Bed 2 - one single and 2 bunk beds (the bunks are full size beds so are suitable for adults as well). AirCon/Heating. Fitted wardrobes.
Fully tiled family bathroom with bath/shower over, wc, bidet and wash basin.
Additional downstairs shower room with toilet, basin and shower.
Open plan kitchen with serving arch. Fully equipped with cooker/hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and sandwich toaster. The apartment does have a washing machine which is situated on the rear balcony to Bedroom One.
Open plan living/dining room with large corner sofa incorporating chaise longue, coffee table, Some freeview TV, Video, DVD Player, Midi Hi-Fi system.
Large extending dining table with 6 chairs, sideboard unit. Sliding patio doors onto terrace/patio.
The apartment has it's own downstairs shower room with shower, wc and wash basin. This room is situated underneath the apartment and is accessed from the apartments private undercover designated parking space. It is ideal for use as a second bathroom.
Towels and bed linen including cot bedding are included in prices (not beach towels). Towels/bedlinen are changed weekly at the end of the first week for fortnighly bookings only. Cleaning is done before arrival and after departure.

The apartment is on the lower level and has a large south facing patio/ with built in BBQ overlooking the pool. The terrace/balcony area is fully enclosed with a door separating the terrace from the steps leading to the pool. The terrace offers suberb views across to Monte Toro.
There is a large patio table with 6 chairs, a large parasol and 5 sunloungers. Part of the terrace provides natural shade. Separate childrens section in swimming pool.
The apartment complex is provides a well maintained garden with paved and grass areas for sunbathing around the swimming pool.

Lovely separate shallow childrens section to the main pool.

The property is managed by an English Lady who is able to assist in the case of Emergencies. Also has contact details for our English Handyman if required.
The property offers free undercover parking.
There is a box of buckets and spades and inflatable beach toys etc available for guests to use.
Selection of books/c.d's/childrens videos and d.v.d's within the Apartment, some board games and small childrens toys.

Notes on prices
Prices shown are for the property per week in UK Pounds. For the 5th 6th and 7th persons please add £20 per person, per week. Some special offers available for late bookings to fill late availability. Please contact us for further details. Prices for long winter lets available upon request.
Flexible depending on other bookings. The apartment must be vacated by 10.00am on departure day. Access to the Apartment upon arrival will be at 2.00pm. This is to allow for cleaning between lets. We can sometimes offer early check ins/later checkouts.
Please telephone to confirm availability.
A 20% deposit per booking is required. Balance of payment is required 6 weeks prior to departure. We would recommend all guests arrange their own cancellation insurance. If a booking is cancelled following confirmation and receipt of deposit or final balance,we can only refund monies paid if we are able to secure another booking for the same dates.
We would respectfully ask that any items damaged or broken are replaced by guests during their stay.
About the area
The safe blue flag sandy beach at Son Parc is a 5-10 minute stroll away through pines and sand dunes. For those wishing to walk to other beaches a 40 minute walk will take you to a deserted sandy cove across the headland. In the opposite direction a 15 minute walk will take you to the neighbouring resort of Arenal D'En Castell which provides a sandy bay and a further selection of bars/restaurants. Pedalos are available for hire at both the beaches of Son Parc and Arenal.
One mile away from the apartment is the only Golf course on the island which currently provides a nine hole course and driving range. The course is currently being extended to 18 holes. Equipment is available for hire if required.
There are also Tennis Courts located at the Golf Club. Racquets etc are available for hire.
How to get there
Mahon airport is a 20 minutes drive away. Car hire is not essential as all amenities are close at hand within the resort, however for those wishing to explore the island car hire is recommended.
N.B: For those visiting the during the low season months of November-April car hire is essential as most amenities within Son Parc do not open until the 1 May.
There is a local bus service available from Son Parc for those wishing to visit other resorts.
Anywhere on the island can be reached within an hour by car. The nearby resorts of Arenal, Addaia and Fornells are within 10 -15 minutes drive.

Local bars/restaurants/shops and supermarkets are all within walking distance. Horse riding, diving, windsurfing and sailing are all available within a short drive.
There are 2 Waterparks at the opposite end of the island which can both be reached within an hours drive.
A doctor is on call to the resort of Son Parc on a daily basis should one be needed.
A lifeguard/First Aid post is in use during the peak season months on Son Parc Beach.
Early check ins/Late checkouts maybe available dependant on other bookings. Please enquire with us as to whether this is possible.

"Apartment Son Parc"
We (two adults and 2 boys aged 15 and 12) have recently returned from a holiday in this apartment. We had such a nice time which even the thunder storm on the first night or the 24 hour delay on the flight home didn't ruin! The apartment was clean, comfortable and offered plenty of space. The storage/shower room on the ground floor was really handy when at the poolside. The 'extras' available such as beach parasols and tent, pool inflatables, books, dvds, board games, etc were really useful. The apartment is in an ideal location in the lovely area of Son Parc: a few minutes' walk and you are at a small strip of bars/restaurants or the beach (the walk down the boardwalk to the truly stunning beach was just lovely), but it was in a peaceful setting where we could sleep without disturbance. A wonderful holiday - thank you Erica!

"Casa Son Parc"
We were a family of 3 adults and 2 children 6 and 8. We found the owners extremely easy to deal with and very accommodating. Their replies by e-mail were prompt and efficient. The property was exactly as described and the listing and picture accurate. It was clean and well maintained with plenty of instructions to work the various appliances. We had reasonably good weather for November but were not able to use the outside terrace to eat as the evening and mornings were a little chilly but the available space to do so was large and bright and safe for small children. A quiet apartment at this time of the year and not many facilities open, a car is a must late in the season but at other times everything is within walking distance. We would recommend this apartment and would use it again.

"Great apartment, great holiday"
We (me, hubby plus 2 daughters - 8 and 6 years old) spent a lovely two weeks in this apartment last summer. It had everything we wanted for a relaxing holiday. The apartment was very well equipped - we particularly appreciated the air conditioning, the satellite tv (sad, I know, but the Olympics were on!), the lovely spacious balcony and the quiet location. It is a 10 minutes stroll to the bars and restaurants which were cheaper than we expected and very welcoming. We all loved the beach at Son Parc and enjoyed the longer walk to other beaches. We loved it so much we have booked to come again next year!

We spent 2 lovely weeks in the apartment which is very comfortable, well equipped for a self catering holiday and well maintained. The location is peaceful and well away from the hustle and bustle of the resort centre.We particularly liked the very spacious balcony which overlooks the pool and garden and were therefore content to prepare our own meals and eat in.There is a very good and frequent bus service that runs to Fornells and Mahon so it is not necessary to hire a car.The local beach is fabulous and ideal for children as it is very shallow. We would definitely recommend the apartment to friends.Excellent chinese restaurant and takeaway and other good restaurants.

"Wonderful peaceful holiday"
We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at Son Parc. The apartment is perfect for a relaxing holiday with every facility and home comfort you could want. The terrace was large which was perfect for sitting out in the evenings or relaxing in the day. The pool was never crowded and had lovely areas in the shade to relax. The apartment is located in a quiet area with easy walking to a lovely park for the children and a small strip of restaurants and a supermarket. It is also located near a couple of picturesque walks, one to another nearby resort which is great if you do not have a car and another to a lovely cove. The beach was beautiful and the sea is clear and safe to swim in. We hired a car for a couple of days and explored the island and again this was a good base to do this. I would highly recommend this apartment.

My name is Erica Moloney. I am 47 years old and am married to Kevin. We have 2 daughters aged 14 and 11. I work as an Accounts Manager for a local Recruitment Consultants. In my spare time I spend a lot of time riding my horse Murphy on whom I compete locally at Dressage.

Why this location?
We decided to buy an Apartment in Son Parc as we already knew the area and loved the convenience of the resort. Everything from the Beach to the local restaurants and supermarkets are all within walking distance. We also don't like high rise hotels of which there are none within Son Parc. The resort of Son Parc is not over commercialised and provides a good mix of restaurants and bars. From where our Apartment is located you can easily walk across the cliff top path to the neighbouring resort of Arenal where there is a further choice of Restaurants and another super Beach. The Beach at Son Parc is a glorious crescent of golden sand with crystal clear waters.There are natural sand dunes at the rear of the Beach which add to it's appeal.
What are the unique benefits of the property?
Additional benefits of our Apartment are additional air conditioning has been installed in both the bedrooms. This is fantastic for those hot summer nights but equally useful in the cooler months as it has a hot setting too. The Apartment has a large south facing terrace offering access to the pool area. There is a private downstairs shower room for this Apartment which can double as a second bathroom and is handy for nipping to the loo when your by the pool. We also have undercover private parking with our own allocated space. The location of the Apartment is fantastic with everything within a short walk so car hire is not essential. The Pool has area has both sunny and paved areas and grassy areas of natural shade provided by pine trees surrounding the pool.
