The Costa Azahar (Spain’s Orange Blossom Coast) offers a fantastic experience of real Spain. Our fully equipped and beautifully furnished apartment has private landscaped gardens with a large swimming pool and a south-facing balcony overlooking the 8th hole of the Panoramica Championship Golf Course. The Apartment (part of ‘Villa Dalia’) and golf course are nestled among fields of orange and olive groves close to the sea and fishing port of Vinaros, where an abundance of beautiful beaches, secluded coves, local sites and interesting places to visit can be found.

Lounge has large corner sofa, coffee table, storage cabinets, UK Satellite TV -BBC 1,2, ITV 1,2,3,4,CH 4,5 Hi-Fi,DVD and large folding doors leading out onto balcony area. Dining area next to the kitchen has a large dining table with seating for 4 people.
South-facing balcony looks out onto gardens and swimming pool and overlooks the 8th hole of Panoramica golf course.
Additional lockup storage in the basement is available if required for golf equipment etc.
Clean towels and linen are provided for 4 guests weekly. Beach towels are not provided.

There is no wheelchair access to this apartment as it is located on the first floor.
Private landscaped gardens surround the apartment building. The gardens and swimming pool are fully maintained. Around the pool area there are many sunbeds and two covered terraces near the BBQ. The oval-shaped swimming pool (Approx 12m long x 8m wide) is shared with the private residents of Olivos Del Sol and has a palm tree island, an adjoining childrens pool and a waterfall that operates throughout the day (which is turned off during Siesta hours and at night!).
Important notes on accommodation
Villa Dalia is located within the private Panoramica Golf complex which has 24 hour manned security gate access. The apartment is on the first floor of Villa Dalia and has intercom access at the entrance to the building and at the front door. This accommodation is suitable for children. 2 bicycles are available for use. Please request details.

Notes on prices
Prices shown are for the property per week in UK Pounds. Subject to availability we are able to offer some flexibility of duration of stay (minimum stay 2 nights) for weekend visits etc. We also offer discounted rates up to 30% off for long lets depending on length of stay. Guests are asked to vacate the property by 11am on the day of departure to allow cleaning changeover to take place before arrival of further guests.
A 25% deposit is payable (non refundable) on booking with balance of 75% payable 4 weeks prior to arrival. A damage protection deposit of £100 must be paid at this time with the balance due, returnable within 7 days of the end of the holiday, subject to inspection.

About the area
Panoramica is in an ideal geographical location for lovers of sea and the mountains being only several kilometres from Vinaros, Benicarlo, Peniscola and Morella. There are 120 kilometres of coastline (the Orange Blossom Coast) washed by the waters of the Mediterranean sea. Quiet ‘Blue Flag’ beaches abound where you can enjoy over 300 days of sun each year with an average temperature of 26 degrees in the summer and 18 degrees in the winter.

Panoramica was designed by Bernhard Langer and has now matured into one of Europe’s finest golf courses, playing host to the 2005, 2006, 2008 and 2009 LPGA Tour 'Spanish Open'. At over 6600 yards off yellow tees and 5500 off red tees this is an excellent par 72 golf course built to Championship specifications. Challenging and attractive with water hazards on 6 holes. Practise facilities are regarded as among the best in Europe with 2 huge driving ranges, numerous tuition/practice areas and a practice par 3 course. The clubhouse provides everything you could want including golf shop, bars, restaurant and changing facilities – all within 10 minutes walk of the apartment. Further afield there are also 4 other golf courses within 1hr drive of Panoramica and you will almost certainly want to visit Club Mediterraneo near Castellon - Sergio Garcia's home club.
How to get there
NEW FROM SEPT 2015 NEW AIRPORT AT CASTELLON WITH RYANAIR FLYING TO STANSTED AND BRISTOL. RyanAir fly to Reus from London Stansted, Luton and from Dublin.Valencia and Barcelona are other options Car hire is recommended.

Vinaros is the local fishing port town, bringing in fresh fish every day with King Prawns a local speciality. There is a fantastic market in next to the seafront in Vinaros where you can purchase fresh fish, fruit and vegetables and is colourful with a wonderful atmosphere. Restaurants and bars are all along the seafront with excellent shopping in the town centre and plenty of large supermarkets on the road to the golf course.
Benicarlo (next to Vinaros) is also a seafaring town with the Nautical Resort providing a great variety of watersports –including canoeing, sailing, snorkling, diving and water skiing.
Morella is the medieval capital city of the region El Ports and is an interesting ancient walled town high in the mountains (approx 40 mins drive).
The nearby Ulldecona reservoir is an area of great natural beauty, ideal for hill walking and bird watching along with cave paintings at Polvori Cave.
Barcelona city is 1½ hours by car (Valencia is 1 1/4 hours)or both are easily accessible by train from Vinaros. Both are fantastic cities that must be visited during your stay.
A few kilometers along the coast is Peniscola old Medieval town with walls and fortifications surrounding the white washed houses and Peniscola Castle that housed the controversial 15th century Pope Benedict XIII. Peniscola has 7 kilometres of beautiful beaches with a lively atmosphere and many night spots. It also hosts the Classical Music Season and International Comedy Festival each year.
Columbretes Islands can be visited by a sea trip. These volcanic islands are a protected nature reserve but organised visits are available.
The Universal Mediterranea theme park ‘Port Aventura’ and ‘Costa Caribe’ water park are only 45 mins drive away or easily accessible by train from Vinaros directly to Port Aventura’s own railway station. This is the only Universal theme park in Europe and is a must for the young at heart. (www.portaventura.es)

"A Great Summer break"
When we booked this appartment, we expected something 'cheap and cheerful' but were blown away with the quality of the appartment and the location - and most of all by the tranquility of the surroundings - and in mid August!! The golf was great - Vinaros was fun to explore and there are planty of nice eateries within easy reach, as well as some beautiful beaches. Neighbours too in the appartment were helpful (thanks for the loan of the BBQ tools!!). The need for a car is a given - all in all a fbulaous couple of weeks. (Tip - buy golf tickets on line prior to coming across - you'll save a little)
Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children and romantic getaway

About the Owner
Lynda and I retired to Spain 8 years ago after selling our business. Our 2 sons 'flew the nest' some years ago so we felt it was our turn to relax and enjoy some better weather. My love of golf influenced the area we settled in and Lynda's love of painting was influenced by the vivid light and views in this area of Eastern Spain. We enjoyed the area so much that we purchased a villa on the hills overlooking the sea and village of Las Fuentes where we now live and have a penthouse apartment for renting (Owners Direct S7602).

Why this location?
Initially we were influenced by the wonderful Panoramica golf course designed by Bernhard Langer 15 years ago. A limited number of properties were built around the course on the front line and our property overlooked the 8th tee and fairway. The Olivos del Sol development was high quality with superb gardens and pool. We lived in the apartment for 6 months furnishing it exactly as we wanted to a high standard and then made it available for renting. The area is really lovely with mountain ranges behind the property and the sea just a few miles away with extensive bays and beaches,and a very interesting town of Vinaros with many restaurants. It is not only golfers we attract and many visitors have been families coming to enjoy the facilities.
What are the unique benefits of the property?
Panoramica has easy access to airports at Reus, Barcelona and Valencia. Golf is available right on the doorstep on a great course where the Spanish Ladies Open has been played 4 times in recent years. It is very convenient for trips to the major cities, mountain towns and villages or great beaches
