Los Corrales Olive farm is home to 2 beautiful holiday cottages: El Olivo and La Higuera. Both cottages are very different, independant and spaced well apart with a large sunken swimming pool nestled in between. Ancient olive trees, almonds trees, fruit trees, scented flowers and bushes and stunning views of Las Alpujarras. 5 minute drive to Orgiva (15 minute walk), easy access to Mediterranean beaches, mountains and Granada. This is an ideal location for anyone needing rest and relaxation with a very child friendly environment.

Well stocked kitchens with washing machine, fridge/freezer, gas cooker/oven, microwave.
The open plan living rooms have double doors opening out onto patios. A double sofabed and CD/radio/cassette. El Olivo has an open fireplace for the winter months and La Higuera has a wood burning stove.
Bed linen and towels (not beach towels) are provided.

Cot, High Chair, Room Fans.
El Olivo is wheelchair accessable and with parking right up to the cottage.
The pool terrace is grassed and equipped with sun loungers and palm trees for shade. The pool is 5m x 10m (1m - 2m deep). The pool area is now fenced with access through gates. The cottages are set in a safe environment, away from roads. There is a climbing frame, slide, tree house, football area, sandpit, swing set and trampoline available for children with plenty of space to run around. There are various sculptures dotted around the land.
Important notes on accommodation
Both cottages have patios with table, chairs and bbq for outside dining or just admiring the view.
A cot and high chair are available on request.
A small food package (no charge) will be supplied on arrival.
Both cottages and pool area have WIFI access.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. The cottage is also available for long lets during the winter months. Lets of a month or more during the winter months (Nov-Easter) are available for 500 pounds a month.
Flexible. Arrive after 3.00pm, depart by 10.30am.
A non refundable deposit of £150 per week of booking is required when booking, balance 4 weeks before arrival. In cases of less than 1 month between booking and arrival, full amount is payable at time of booking. Our address is Aptdo 127, Orgiva, Granada 18400, Spain.

About the area
The coast is a 40 minute drive.
How to get there
Malaga airport is 2 hours. Almeria airport is 2 hours. Granada airport is 1 hour. Car hire is available at the airports.
Granada is 50 mins away.
The cottages are a 10 min walk (2 min drive) from Orgiva town where you can find shops, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, banks and cafes. The mountains of Las Alpujarra are ideal for walking, birdwatching, horse-riding, skiing (the Sierra Nevada mountains are 1.5 hours away). You can explore the nature or visit the small, white villages that dot the mountain landscape. The coast is a 40 min drive and you can take your pick from the many beaches that line the Costa Tropical. The Moorish town of Granada is a 50 min drive away where a visit to the Alhambra Palace and a walk in the old town is highly recommended. Alternatively, you don't have to go anywhere - just relax around the pool and admire the view. The cottages are built on an olive farm where the family are resident and on hand should the need arise.

Wes owned and ran the successful restaurant EL LIMONERO in Orgiva for 5 years. His is a trained chef with many years experience. We can now offer a sumptious meal delivered to your door. A choice of dishes from a diverse menu all without having to leave the farm.
About the Owner
We have lived in the area for 20 years and have 3 boys who have grown up here. We also ran a restaurant in Orgiva for 5 years. I am originally from England and Wes from Canada.
We bought this property in 1999 after selling our house in another part of Orgiva.
We fell in love with the area because of its natural beauty and the hope of a better quality of life for ourselves and our children.
Los Corrales is a unique property as it is surrounded on all sides by mountains and wonderful views, yet it is only 10 mins from town but you feel you are further away. It is safe for children as set back from main roads and is large enough to allow for privacy for all. We live on the property and are on hand for any queries or help should you need it.

What are the unique benefits of the property?
Los Corrales is laid out in a very well thought out way. The pool and the grassy terrace that surrounds it is the communal area. Each cottage has its individual access to the pool and are located on different terraces. Each cottage has its own private patio and individual space. It is also idea if 2 families want to holiday together or groups of friends.
