Lovely villa in good location
The villa was clean and well equipped. There were lovely views, especially from the balcony. The pool was lovely. There were nice tavernas and restaurants a short walk away, a convenience store and bakery in the village. There were 3 supermarkets within a 15 minute drive. Nowhere on the island was more than an hour’s drive.

Fantastic
Would echo the comments below. Just back from a week stay at Villa Argente with in-laws and two children (aged 9 and 12). The villa is very spacious with beautiful views over to Agostoli. The location is great with enough nearby restaurants to cater for the week, and a local mini-market with sufficient supplies. The villa was, pleasantly, well-equipped, especially with kitchen utensils which can often be lacking in other properties we've rented. A hire car is a must for those wanting to see more of the island. The villa is well placed for trips to Sami, the caves and a multitude of beaches. We went to a beach near the airport in the evening, which was lovely, but spent a day at Kamina beach which was fantastic. While the villa is close to the airport, there are no noise disturbances at all from planes, which are barely noticeable. Communication with the owner was excellent and they were very accommodating (thank you). From all of our perspectives, a faultless holiday.

Lovely villa in a great location
We stayed at this Villa in July. Great location from which to explore Kefalonia and a lovely well maintained pool. Villa was very clean and had everything we needed during our stay. Fantastic welcome pack on arrival, the cold beer was much appreciated! Nearby bakery and also good places to eat in Lakithra. Lovely views over Argostoli in the evening from the balcony. We will definitely be back!

Kefalonia First Timers
Our 2020 holiday to Kefalonia was cancelled (Covid) so we were really pleased to be finally making it and Villa Argante surpassed all our expectations. The location, accommodation, gardens, pool and welcome pack all exceeded our expectations which were pretty high to start with. Lakithra is well placed and has all the services in the village you could possibly need and additionally there are three large supermarkets within a ten minute drive on the road to Argostoli. The bakery and pizzeria are a five minute stroll and the Obelix Grill House, our favourite, is about the same which was perfect for a beer drinking driver. There are plenty of tavernas and cafes in the area to meet all tastes and budgets. Argostoli is well worth a visit both in the daytime and evenings. During the daytime the presence of a cruise ship will indicate a slightly more crowded experience but the turtles are a treat. Asia Effimia and Sami were also visited and we used Lourdas beach for the most part as being able to park close to your attended sunbed (8 euros a set) with a number of tavernas was too convenient. The late auction for sunbed and beach bar licences meant that in mid-June many of the smaller beaches still lacked these facilities. Overall a superb holiday in a thoroughly recommended Villa,

Villa Argante
Villa Argante was undoubtedly the best villa we have ever stayed in. It is so well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The view from the huge upstairs balcony is breathtaking and the pool is gorgeous. The villa is set within a lovely colourful garden. The location is also good. Only a short ride from the airport means you can start enjoying your holiday immediately!! Lakithra is a lovely village with several restaurants within walking distance and a lovely bakery which we used daily. We rented a car for the entire holiday and I would recommend this to explore the many sites Kefalonia has to offer. We would return in a heartbeat.
